As for your friend, try and get her to join the forum. It would be fun and I think having a field report about the nightlife from a female's point of view is something different for a change and something to look forward to. Yep!

Falang girls are treated very well here and they have as good a time as the guys from what I've seen of foreign exchange "teachers" at ABAC from Princeton and various US schools. They all get adopted by the local BMW pretty boys.

Hey everyone.
Power24 told me to put a post on this forum so Ive registered and here I am. Its seems like there isnt much of a western female perspective on the bangkok nightlife so I will endeavour to provide one following my trip to Thailand.
A bit of background about me first may help. Im 24 years old from Alkmaar, near Amsterdam, blonde, 5ft 8, brown eyes, slim, (some say pretty) and bisexual. Im travelling around quite a bit at the moment and my visit to Thailand is fast approaching. My bank account is looking healthy and Im ready for fun.
As Power24 has said in an earlier posting I am really keen to see experience all aspects of Thailands night entertainments but have my reservations that some areas may be a 'men only' environment. From your posts so far however I already feel like I have a warm welcome to the Land of Smiles and am counting down the days to my visit to Thailand so I can begin the experience.

Thanks for making me feel welcome too. I was planning on spending a few nights in Bangkok, a few days in Chiang Mai then down to Phuket and Koh Samui to put my feet up and relax a while. I am in Thailand for a month and experiencing the nightlife is as big a part of the experience for me as experiencing the pretty scenery and food etc.......MMMmmmmm food!

Shall be leaving for Thailand at easter weekend. Any last minute ideas which bars I should visit first (remembering im a bi-girl also looking for fun?). Ideas for a good dancing club also appreciated. I shall be staying at Landmark so anywhere near there would be good. Or even better any palces where a farang girl should stay away from? Excellent. One thing this forum could certainly use is more female perspective (and, of course, more Thai perspective, but you can't have everything).
I'm not sure there's any bi/lesbian ghetto in the farang-oriented P4P scene. But there are girls in nearly all the bars who fit that description. First port of call is usually the mamasan who will fix you up with suitable companions.
And it's true. Unless you're the sort of woman who sits there frigid with disapproval, you can expect a friendly welcome.
