But the number of times I have selected a girl, asked her to come over then found out she is as miserable as sin is unbelievable. If they don't want to be with you why do they come over?
Probably because they feel obligated - and in most (or at least many) bars, I think they ARE obligated if you offer to buy them a drink.
Personally, I think it's a waste of time summoning BGs in the bars - this is to treat them like MPs, which they're not. The success rate (I mean later in bed) is much higher if you let the girls select you - either by hitting on you directly or (much better) catching your eye and playing eyeball footsie for 5 minutes before coming over. If a particular BG just won't catch your eye, take the hint.
MrJoe once described a brilliant tactic - buy a girl a drink, & get the waitress to pass on a message that you just want to compliment her on her dancing (or whatever), and that she doesn't have to come over. Of course, she then does. However you manage it, I think the key in the bars is to get the BG of choice to be with you of her own accord.

Arcadius- This is what I meant rather than just call out the number.
Yes get the eye contact and a smile and then maybe a couple of comments. Then ask her to come over.
Like I said if there is no eye contact or she don't want to catch your eye then whats the point in asking her to come over.
I always ask them if they want to come home with me before I barfine. Probably means nothing but I feel if they dislike you they have the option to say no.

You know, that makes me look back and reevaluate what was different when things went great, and when they didn't go so great. ÝYou don't have to follow the same pickup rules with BGs that work with straight girls in Western clubs - but looking back, it works when you do.
To paraphrase - if you want a GFE use your tried and true BFE skills.
Of course not everyone here wants a GFE, but that works for me.
And if BFE skills don't work, there's always Fallback Plan # 2...

I must admit, I find it hard to shake off the first girl you meet (or they meet you) in a bar, def a skill I need to learn! How do you say (with or with out buying them a drink) sorry you are nice but not my type, can you introduce me to her?
I have never worked that one out, so any advice welcome...........

just tell them,they are so used to being 'rejected'.
if i see a girl i do not really like i just hold my hand up and shake my head.
if i am with a girl but not really interested in her,i will just ask the name of the girl i do like and i find they will often get the girl to sit me me and then disappear.
OK a drink might be expected as a reward,no problem with me.

dirtys right, sometime the wallflowers are the bomb, then again sometimes they are the starfish of the century. I'm slower than my first few trips at the choosing, though if I'm really attracted, I'll pursue the girl, otherwise, wait, watch, and observe from a distance. I like to watch, hence the nick.... and I'll like to catch the girl at ease..... then move in.....
