Let me put it this way : If someone has 60 million bahts to burn, why not go to the bar ( that you are contemplating buying) and just sit back and be a lazy customer rather than buzzing around like a busy bee while you have your $$ at risk of being stolen by your bartender, your mamasan, your gogo girls and all of their families and relatives ? Let's see : 60 millions bahts should last you what ? 40-50 years ( assuming you are living it up like a king at 100,000 baths a month)............don't be silly !

Never Buy something in Pattya and Phuket and expect to get some money with you home. All your money and the rest off the life you have to spend in THAT bar. If you leave it more then one day the staff will rip you clean if the GF did not do it the hour before.
Sure Tai Pan doing ok for BOB but then he is stuck there.
I met the guy 5 years ago who built Tai Pan and Rock Hard. He lost all his money he got from the sale on some Hotel. He had 60 000 THB when he left for USA after 15 years in Thailand. The thai mafia and the police was after him beucase he had no more money to pay them. I bought his tv and stereo.
Tony you mean the same TONY that open a gigantic pub in Petchburi road and then went down biiiiig time.
Sure there are some that making money but there is more people dont you count them in the 100 now in Phuket when they are diving straight into another low season with out even had the chanse to build up some extra cash in the high season.
What ever you do never open a bar just beucase you like to drink and you BG GF says its a GOOD idea.
