Anyone been here recently? What's the deal?
Went here once and the girl didn't seem interested in being bar-fined. Do you have to be a regular to take a girl out? Or is it just a high-priced drink place where you're paying for conversation?

was there after Q bar about 10 days ago. girls were average but one or 2 good looking girls with big boobs. girls were attentive and trying to be kind and fascinating. I didn't know the BF is 1,000B. I would rather go to a gogo bar, but just one cold beer is not that bad.

I found the girls to be fairly attractive, nice tight black outfits - looked like vinyl or leather hot pants.
The pink neon lights were not so pleasant. The bench-seat is way too skinny for even my ass (and I'm not that fat) ; others would have significant trouble sitting on it.
The tables are irritating - tall, tall stools with lights in them. Is it a chair or is it a table? It's a table, but only because it's too high to sit on.
Upstairs is lame.
At least it's better than what's across the street.

Yurune: Genesis Bar moved up the street and is now on the corner of Soi 11, about half way between Q Bar and Bed.
I stop by every so often but only get a drink and a chat. Am curious about other activities they're involved in.

the new genesis has about half the usable floor space as the old. the first floor is cramped, and when it's late and the music is playing, you can't hear yourself think it's so loud. the second floor is even smaller and less accomodating, with the added pleasure that it's hot/sweaty. there are indeed several good looking girls or waitresses here, but they think VERY highly of themselves and I wouldn't even bother initiating conversation with them muchless anything else. drinks are average. didn't see any food. several overly drunk, rude farangs.
avoid it.

however, I agree, the second floor truly sucks.
