Rififi is a good bar if you just want a quiet drink. Frankly, the girls aren't great. One or two not bad but on average not something that would get me to spend money. I like the bar early in the day or very late. In between there are too many other places to go.

all the staff of rififi's was kicked out as the place is being refurbished and reopened by ex dollhouse, electric blue andy!
most of the staff has ventured to superstar and goldfinger on patpong I have heard!

I noticed a Real Estate agent had this place advertised for sale a month or so back. Some serious money as well. Looks like it has new owners as because the above says, is being refurbished.

Have heard rumours that they will open the first week of April.
Time some new bars are opening on the Pong. Was there yesterday for a few beers and was again surprised by the small amount of customers in all bars. Even the night market was quiet.

Just shows how variable experiences can be. I've been to PP twice during the past 2 weeks (both times midweek), and have been surpised by how busy the bars were at this time of year - much busier than NEP, I thought.

Go to Patpong a bit more frequent now. Just moved close to the area and for a few beers it is so much closer than Sukhumvit. Was there yesterday approximately between 21.00 and 23.00. Went to Tigh bar, Camelot, Castle and Corner and a last beer at Pink Panther. Comparing over the years it seems that the girls are less atractive and less (paying) customers. Bars without a lot of actual customers are not always looking empty (like sometimes on Nana) due to the huge amount of people working in those bars. (Not only girls but more serving girls / touts etc.) Guess there are good and bad days but the bad days seem to increase on Patpong.
