Perhaps I don't really need to go on the internet to make friends? And I certainly don't want people "in my camp" who have so little common sense.
I guess the one good thing to come out of this kind of thread is that it makes Haam Sup a bit more tolerant of other members for a few weeks while he deliberately tries to rally them to his cause. This pattern continues to repeat itself, but he doesn't disappoint and always returns to his bad natured self. At least I'm a consistent asshole, rather than a political two-face.

And here we see that searing wit that you were telling us about? Are the people who find this crap amusing drunk or just stupid?
I can see now why you love Thailand so much. You have incorporated all the faults of the Thai people:
- You say one thing when you mean another.
- You find it offensive when people point out your lies and make you lose face.
- You are ingratiating when it suits you and vicious to your new "friends" when they no longer suit your needs.
- You have no long-term memory and refuse to learn from your mistakes.
- You hold others to a higher standard than you do yourself.
- Logic and reason are only useful when they support your opinions.
- And of course, greedy, heartless farang (like me) are the cause of all your problems.
Yet oddly, in your many years, you haven't managed to pick up any of their many virtues.

Chompoo certainly must have SOMETHING major at stake to be squandering all his energy in this thread. İSeems to give some validity to my belief that it's not really a specific issue that Chompoo finds important; rather it is the opportunity to rub everybody's face in a) their own mistakes, and b) Chompoo's belief in his moral/intellectual superiority.
And now he paints the entire Thai population with his perjoritive and bigoted generalizations.
I guess it makes sense: when you are so obnoxious as to wear out your welcome WHEREVER you go, the grace of Thailand and Thais must be a last resort. İBut to turn on the last group of people who would give you comfort reminds me of Woody Allen's quote of Groucho Marx (attributed to Freud): "I'd never join any club that would have me as a member..."
Too bad you have to deal with the human side of 'prostitution'. İA machine would seem to suit you better.
