Tonight (Wednesday) we dropped by Shark Bar for the night. It started raining around 7:30 or so, and by 8pm there was 2-3 inches of water on the Soi 23 side of Cowboy.
There was only 1 other guy in the place when we got our seats. 7 girls on stage, none very happy about dancing for no guys. We got the happy hour price of 70bt for cokes and sat back to watch.
In particular I wanted to watch for some of the numbers mentioned in this thread lately. Saw #34 - I'd say above average but no more (every guy has what he considers his best lookers). #64 was pretty hot, as was #50 and #179.
I know one of the hostesses (outside greeters). She came late, found me, and sat down for the duration. Not sexy, but fun and speaks very good English. She also knows how everything works in the bar.
Since she was late, she got docked 2bt per minute. They have timecards that they have to punch in (and I assume out). Hostesses get 7,000bt a month, Dancers 10,000bt, Servers 4,000bt. To get their full salary, Dancers must get 12 BFs and 60 LDs a month. Hostesses 10 and 60. Servers have no quota. Each BF they miss they lose 600bt salary. Each LD they miss they lose 50bt salary. Since last month was so awful, my hostess got no salary in May (combo of missed BFs and lateness). Even though the bar was closed 4 days they still had to meet their full quota.
LDs are either 120bt or 160bt depending on what the girl orders. Coke, Thai whiskey is 120bt - the rest 160bt. In both cases the girl gets 50bt - so if you care make sure they order the 120bt type. Punter drinks are 160bt except for coke, soda and water, which is 120bt.
After a couple of hours #32 came over to join us. Hostess and #32 were cousins, and she figured I was good for a LD. Actually, she spoke good English and was pretty funny. As the night wore on, and she got more LDs from more customers she might have been the sexiest girl dancing.
#179, #32 and #64 seemed to have the most LD slips of any of the girls (most keep them in their bra).
She told me she would get 20 to 30 BFs a month - one of the highest earners at Shark. She said #64 (mentioned above) was very popular with the Japanese and also did very well with BFs.
BFs are 600bt, you don't have to buy a set number of LDs. ST ranges from 2,000-2,500bt depending on girl (and how desperate she is), and LT from 3,000bt up.
By 10:30 Shark was full. AFAIK, they were doing a good business. 2 sets of girls dancing, one set of 20 and another set of slightly less girls. I would say the quality was generally higher than Baccara or Spankys that we visited in the last couple of days.
The girls didn't bother you much for LDs if you rejected the first girl that asked. And, I didn't see anyone smoking or notice any smoke - which was very nice after Baccara and Spanky's.
All in all, a very nice evening at Shark Bar.

You and I have a completely different definition of 'big'. I wouldn't class those as big at all.
The pictures don't do #64 justice. After careful live inspection her tits (enhanced) definitely should be considered "big".

I don't think she wore #32 when I bar fined her, but sometimes girls change numbers. I don't recall having seen her again. I took her at bar time as a long timer, since I already had a Rainbow girl short time earlier that night and was slightly inebriated by then. She was a good dancer and I though she would be good in the sack, but afterwords she wanted to party with her friends and asked if she could leave, so I just paid her for short time. If anyone knows her name it might jog my memory.

You are right. Girls change their numbers all the time. My hostess friend at Shark said that many girls go home for a short while and when they come back they get a new number.
I've seen comments that girls don't change numbers - this is not true at least in Shark Bar. One possible reason - the girls are paid for their LDs (50bt each) at the end of the night. Those little pieces of paper you see here and there on them are their LD receipts that they turn in at the end of the night.

Another thing Shark Soi Cowboy does is let free lancers dance and also work as greeters on the weekends. This is a win-win situation for the bar and the free lancers because naturally the bar does not have to pay a salary to the FL, and they also benefit from the bar fines and LD too.
The regular dancers are not too fond of this scenario because they trudge along all week hoofing it on the chrome poles waiting for the Friday / Saturday night payday of mongers; only having to compete with all of the; 'Free Lancers'. The real benefit is to the Free Lancers and to the Mongers.
Lucky for Shark and all the other Hooker establishments in Thailand; that there is no 'Labor Grievance Board' for the gals to complain to.
Moral of the story: Go to Shark Bar on the weekend!
