Yikes!! Do some guys really pay 4,000 LT for ONE GIRL?! I'm 51, probably look close to 10 years younger, not fat...fluent Thai, Lao and Surin Khmer...but damn, 4k is what I pay for two girls, all night, totally sucking and f***ing the shit out of each other as well as me...and really fun comraderie/conversation to boot; we usually have lunch together the next day, I have to kick THEM out... Granted, my girls do NOT come out of gogos, and are probably not "stunners" by most guys' evaluation, but they're often young (19), and plenty hot for my purposes...which is, after all, all that counts, haha...

I think that quotes like 2k/4k have more to do with the forum (Shark bar) and less (if anything) to do with the looks of the customer.
I could be entirely off base on this, but my sense is that most girls' opening bids have more to do with what they think THEY are worth than with what they think of the customer. If they really don't like a guy, then they are more likely to say they don't want to go, or ask for such an outrageous price that no one short of an arabian sheik would think of accepting.
There may of course be exceptions to this rule, but I doubt most girls have a sliding scale, at least in terms of the opening bid. However, I do think that whether a girl is willing to negotiate DOWN their initial price will depend on the looks, smell, vibe, of the guy in question. No doubt, if a girl likes you, you can get away with pretty much anything; if she doesn't, then the most you can hope for is retail.  And while age may be a factor, I highly doubt that it is a critical factor. Again, other things, like charm, smell, attitude, fun factor, are much more important.
