enjoyed reading the previous threads.
as CJ said 'go go bars are all death traps'.
after all,who wants to go in a place where you are joined by beautiful women wanting to pleasure you?.
don't all of us want to go out for a coke and then go home alone?.
there is nothing worse then going out for a quiet night and being forced to take 1,2,3 girls home and having to work your socks off to cope with her demands for sex.

The 1st Go-Go bar I went to (rather dragged in by the "hello" girls) was in PatPong at (I believe) The Thigh Bar. It was my 1st night-life experience and things moved so quickly it was 1 big blur. Anyway, I get dragged in by 3 girls, they sit me down, I end up buying drinks for the 3 girls, then everyone and their mamasan comes up asking for a drink, I agree for about 8 drinks or so, and one of the Hello girls is offered up to me. She was sweet enough but I wanted to see what was out there (the other girls gave her a good ribbing). So I go to pay the check and the 8 or nine drinks had multiplied to about 35 drink receipts! It came out to about 4,000bht! So I complained to the mamasan and she brought it down to about 1000bht (fair enough) and I hightailed it outta there! I ended up at King II and had a good experience there, met a nice girl. No ripoffs. I would recommend you stick with the Kings Group bars. Shouldnt have too much trouble in those bars

Providing you keep an eye on that little pot with the drink tabs in it - frankly the only thing you'll lose is your self-control...
You can't really fail to enjoy yourself - unless you're deliberately trying to have a shit time.
Christ, it's not as if you have to chat anyone up - more like beat them off with a stick !

Just a rookie.. but in Patpong the golden rule is to "never go upstair" :D
A couple went up to a bar in Patpong.. for 15 min.. When they wanted to leave the tab was 1500 Bath.. and they paid.. no matter what they said. Don't remember the name of the place.
King's and Queens.. those are OK.. Just don't belive the hello girls "no charge.. free".. 'cause you drink beer, buy lady drinks, tip for the show...
btw - In Phuket, Patong.. the GoGo I went to had 4 rooms for shagging!!! :D Ended up with two dancers in the Papa San's room.. 4K for two ladies... 2 hrs.. mmmm..
THAT is what I'd like to have in BKK..
