I'm sure you will have a fantastic and memorable time in LOS. The food is unforgettable.
I went to a nightclub called Narcissus which is in Soi 23 -

I'm not usually a clubber but I had a great time there and it was a very impressive place. Maybe worth a look for you.

Its good to hear that a female perspective on the Thailand scene will be welcome. Believe me Arcadius when I say I wont be sat frigid with dissaproval either!
I may try Narcissus then if it looks busy, however I shall be there on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights initially so I dont know how busy the clubs will be.....

I know you'll have a blast. Lucky you, going away the paas weekend... I am stuck at home over easter redecorating my spare room. If you change your mind about LOS... feel free to come help me strip wallpaper. 
p.s. if you are flying out of Schiphol with China Airlines, then PM me and I will give you a phone # that may help you get an upgrade to business class seats... or at the very least get a seat on the exit rows which has MUCH more legroom. (it worked for me, lol)
