Yes. Respect them for what they are - a good or bad person. I found a lot of them more sanuk than the girls. And it puts some spice in. Kcorner: girl or LB? KC3: pre or post-OP. The regulars know. Watching the tourists is fun. Yes, it's about the atmosphere.
If I go to the bars I want to relax and have a good time. In PP I found some of the LBs in the bars nicer and more beautiful than the girls. I found the opposite in Nana.

Actually, It's several months since I've been to K Corner.
But from memory, there were some pretty ropey LBs in attendance earlier in the evening. Personally, I'm not hugely in to being groped by what looks like a guy in a bikini while stone cold sober, but maybe others find this appealing.
Later in the night (say post 10-10.30), there'd be a big change. Runway packed with really good-looking chicks (& not-so-chicks) - great fun trying to make eye-contact with a cutie without accidentally committing yourself to the wrong gender. Guys in the bar feverishly inspecting hands, feet etc everywhere.
I also thought many of the girls (as well as the LBs) there were good fun. Which is more than can be said for a lot of their absurdly mercenary sisters at the mainstream Kings bars. Anyway, great place for a party - and to take people new to town. Hope it hasn't changed too much.

I brought a few friends to KC last night (August 22). A Thai lady, a russian guy and a Japanese guy. This trip was more for the Japanese guy, who had not really encountered lady boys.
We had all in all, 10 beers, 5 lady drinks, a pack of cigarettes and a plate of mangoes. I got the bill for 2,890B! And the stack of bills appeared thicker than when I asked for the check. I checked the bills and found that some bills did not belong to our table. I told them to do a recount, it came back, with a smaller total, 2,350 B, but that was still much more than what had, I gave the waitress the total, and said, it should only be around 1,500 B. Finally, it came back, with a total of 1,540 B, and no more extra bills were found. I emptied the tray, gave some tip to the waitress, and said, your friends are not getting any!
Make sure you don't go there when you are drunk. The will definitely pad your bills at every opportunity. Check the table number written on the bill. If it doesn't match, just reject it. And if you have the time, just go ahead and report it to the tourist police.
