There hasn't been a day, a single day, when in los that I can remember, when someone, somewhere, hasn't tried to short change me, pad the bill, serve the wrong food order,etc., etc., etc.
I suppose this is a great lesson to all of us to do the following:
- Carry as many small bills as possible, so you can pay
the EXACT total as much of the time as possible.
- Pay as you go in bars, and mention all bar tab
discrepancies immediately.
- Always tell the server that you are paying with a 1000
baht note and that you expect change (with a smile of
course!)
I think a few words and a smile go a long way most of the time.

Yes, always denote the bill denomination when handing it over to the serving girl.
With regards to management. I have no freak'n clue. For those that know the mamasan/manager (?) who worked there 3 to 4 years ago is now back. Don't know the reason she's back after doing stints managing several places in Nana. I know some who've had problems (some big) with her but I do have to say she's always treated me well.
Not surprised about the story that started this thread.

this all rubbish!
as said before those things can happen at any place most probably without the managements knowledge.
as to the mamasans: they are all employed there since the very beginning (since clinton plaza time, about 5 years ago!)
Tam the gay guy always there since opening,
ya the former girlfriend of one of the owners, also there since opening and one mama who used to be in dollhouse pattaya for some time. even the dj and cashiers haven't changed in 5 years time!
the only new person in there (since 2 years) is the farang 'supervisor'.
this doesn't sound like a lot of change to me!

The mamasan/manager (?) who played tennis has recently returned. Notwithstanding Tam, Ya and the Cashier. Though if Ya is who I think it is I haven't seen her in awhile, but then again, I really never go into Dollhouse.
And this one did do stints at several nana gogos in the meantime. One third floor and one second floor.
You can call it rubbish, but for those in the know they'll know what I mean.

When I get my first cola I look at the bill if there is something wrong. When I order my second cola I do the samething. If anybody of my friends drink with me I ask for one bill each drink and every time they but a new paper in I look at it. I always use the same waitress and I count the money first infront of her never had any problem.
