My experience in go-go bars is not nearly as extensive as most of you. In fact, I've only been going to Bangkok for a few years, so I'm still a bit of a newbie when it comes to proper protocol within go-go bars. With that being said, I've got a question for some of the more experienced gentlemen around here:
What is your opinion of sitting in a go-go bar in either Cowboy or Nana, and having a girl reach up your shorts and slowly stroke your cock and play with your balls while you idly sit there, drink a few beers and watch the girls on stage? Your cock remains in your pants, but it is quite obvious to anyone who looks in your direction that the girl sitting next to you has her hand up your shorts. Is this considered somewhat normal, or would it be considered bad manners? It seems like the line between decency and inappropriate behavior is rather blurred in these sort of settings, isn't it? i would call it a kind of promotion trick. And as long you dont sit elevated at the bar or start making funny noises or drool over all the other guests I think nobody of the bar or other guest will bat an eye......

This very much depends upon the bar.........the girl...........the other patrons in the bar at the time..........and the proximity of the BIB.
In some bars it is quite acceptable, at certain times and if it isn't too much in th eye of late arrivals ducking their head through the door to see if the place is O.K. for wife, mother or so. ( yes, some idiots do bring them along.) then it is all looked on as good for business.
In other places, it would be seen as most inappropriate and unwelcome and so you wont find the girls taking that course of action.
I don't know of anywhere in Bangkok where, if a tourist leaps up onstage and starts pumping away in some lady's mouth, it would be welcome. Pattaya of course is a different location and has different attitudes and tolerances...... in some bars.
In Bangkok, go with the flow if it is acceptable to you. And don't be so sure that your member will not be exposed to the air, particularly if you are not sitting in the glare of a spot-light.
As with 'showing', the higher up you go in Nana, the more is indulged in. And yes, the governing factor is the degree of proximity of the BIB, but that goes for bj bars as well.
Personally, I don't go for this sort of titillation.
It is distracting when you are driving.
It lessens your concentration in the office.
And if it happens in a bar, and I get aroused, I dont want to have to decamp to go for the full treatment.
Far prefer to have it all in privacy where you have room to swing a cat or skin it and do what you want without being furtive or having to look out for the BIB or some rat who might want to be a moral crusader in his ignorance.
