There's definitely a "home field advantage" for the BGs and the regulars. That's why I found a new favorite, Brunswick on Soi 4 (Nana). Tables are as close to perfect as I've found in Thailand. Definitely a spot for serious players, though.

Brunswick has the best tables, but more importantly even it has the best house cues. ÝThe tables at Flyers are good enough, but the cues suck (there are a couple passable ones, but you have to look for them). ÝBut the last time I was in Brunswick (last January) almost all the tables were full everytime I was there. ÝThe only girls that were working (the day shift) didn't play, they just racked, so that was no fun. ÝWhich is why I shifted to Flyers.
seubeu, I'm not sure the one you're referring to is the same one, but it could be. She was a little cold the first few times I played with her, but she warmed up. Ý Her attractiveness could be somewhat subjective; I certainly thought she was cute and don't think anyone but the most jaded could call her appearance "harsh". She did have a tattoo on her shoulder or arm that looked like it had a name that was inked over (former boyfriend?).ÝBut the most beautiful thing about her was that she had a very nice form while shooting. ÝNot your typical 'run up to the table and whack the balls standing half upright and the shaft half falling out of your hand' BG.

Yes, I'd guess it's about 500 m. Just go down Soi 4 past the entrance to Soi 6, it's still a way down from there on your left. It's right up to the street so you can't miss it. If you've gotten to the Tobacco Monopoly then you've gone too far.

Well, you could miss it if you're not paying attention, and there are a lot of distractions in the area (of the light brown skinned variety, that is). ÝIt's set back from the street and up some stairs, not where you'd typically expect a pool hall.
There's a couple places on the walk over to Brunswick that offered massage/reflexology services. ÝHas anyone tried those? ÝI've been tempted to stop in, but haven't pulled the trigger. ÝOf course, extras with a cute girl is always on my mind, but a decent foot massage by itself wouldn't be bad (especially if they had a cold beer for me AND a cute girl doing it).

I was wondering whether the weekly Sunday pool tournaments still on? I joined one a few months ago on Soi 4 at a place with 4 tables, besides a disco and a hotel. I love pool and would like to play with frens from here when I visit next month. Any tips and advise will be most appreciated. Thanks in advance.
