Eating there yesterday and an older lady, well past her prime and having a conversation with herself Yaabaa style was trying to get my attention. At one point she shoved a wad of 100 baht notes in my face and carried on about something I didn't understand. I ignored her and she moved on but the staff were hovering, ready to shut her up I hope.
Had a look at the Disco / Bandroom out the back. Far too cold after the heat of the main bar and not many in there. Besides...it's another fire trap waiting to happen...one long narrow way in / way out.
But as Madfrog says...what a place to people watch and yes, you can pull a good one from the herd if you are quick enough.

After living and working here for 16yrs you’d think I would know better…you’d think I would have had a Thai way of dealing with it…but no, I bent over, took it, and offered a smile and thank-you in return !

The rooms at PB are…well they’re shitholes. I have spent my fair time in ST motels around the Samutprakarn area, aimed at Thais, and these places are 5* love motels, spotlessly clean, flatscreen TV with porn, clean linen etc, and they cost half the price ! ST motels in central Bangkok aimed at foreigners are trash pits…they really hate us !
I quickly showered realizing what a mistake I had made, why I didn’t just walk away…fear of repercussions ? I could of handed them 500 each and left…but I felt that would have been thrown back at me and more demanded…I was in now, and the Nike slogan was repeating over and over in my head.
I received the teethiest BBBJ ever known to man, the deepthroat wasn’t possible due to my overwhelming size, something I had never noticed before…and still don’t ! With closed eyes and thoughts on greener pastures I managed to bring the situation to a swift close…I did not want FS, I did not want to touch them. But before they could leave, surely they must try a few sucker punches, after all, I had been a complete pushover from start to finish, why not chance it more…they both asked for 500 tip each..i smiled, explaining I had only wanted to pay 1,500, but agreed to 2,000, it was including their tip…next was 50 baht each for motorbike because they had no small money…oh gosh…I explained the motorbike would have change…and with that, they left.
I sat on the bed, deflated, realizing what a waste that was…how stupid I had been, but even with all the wrongs I had accepted, I hadn’t been stabbed, no police had been called, no scene caused, no wallet or phone astray…I had played it to come out the other end without a scratch, it needed to be that way for I require absolute discretion, from that point of view and that point of view alone I had achieved some tiny victory.
I showered, then realised both towels had been used by them to spit on whilst sucking…nice ! I dressed and grabbed a bike to soi 12, next stop The Den.

Nice report sounds like an afternoon where we have all been at one time or another.

I had good memories of PB hotel, of course, I didn't know any better.  The last time I was there, was when we had a pair of twins from the Biergarten. It was a very long time ago...

Its a very different soi visually though with all of the tourist crap shops demolished and the outside Thai restaurant, I had to do a double take as I entered the soi !

I too remember hearing that it moved or was going to move (that was several years ago). I think the "move" never happened. Of course this aged brain of mine often plays tricks on me.
Once someone broke into my house, stole all my furniture and replaced it with exact duplicates......ls

Biergaarten can be acceptable if you choose wisely. My advise is to pick a girl sitting on her own, as those in groups are generally old, haggard, lying c***s that overcharge and always ask for a tip/taxi fare. I think the old hands tell all the girls to ask for this.
There seem to be a lot of girls there now that have just lost their job, so they aren't too battered. I took a girl from there a few months ago that was a f***ing vacuum cleaner.
