It is very likely that these BGs have been barfined for ST once or twice before and just return to the bar to drag an additional customer.
Some BGs that have been barfined for ST do when going back to the bar even change back into their uniforms to increase their chances.

And some don't change back ALSO thinking it improves there chances. Funny the variety of opinions on the correct way to play the game. 
Once in a while a working girl in civilian clothes will be am employee who stopped by on her day off. She can be had any way if she's in the mood. You may end up having to pay-bar if she's behind on her quota or the bar is run by hardasses. YMMV.

long gun has the policy that the girls will change into normal clothes after they have finished there chrome pole hugging exercises. so all girls on the premise not on stage will have street or streetlike clothes. most of them still change this outfit before they head home.
nevertheless i do like that approach as it gives you a sense of the style and taste the girls do have. there is nothing more downturning for me to take home a girl in shabby or cheaply looking clothes!

Griff, I assume you mean when the girls are between dance shifts. I've seen this more lately where the girls hang around in cheap cocktail dresses rather than a bikini top and a wraparound skirt. I'm not sure I like it.
It's still a give-away. If the girl is wearing something that wouldn't take more than 15 seconds to remove when it's time to dance then she's still working. Anything more (like jeans) and she's off or already BF'd that day.

Often when the girls change into their more street-like attires, they walk around to nearby bars to visit their friends. Which complicates things a little as they more subdue when not in their own bars.
Once I saw a girl I liked at LG and after having a beer (I was already surprised she asked for a beer to drink) and I decided to go ahead with the dirty and it was time to pay the bf, she made me walk outside and go to the bar next door (I think Rawhide is the name) to pay the bf there. It seems to me bars at SC are a bit more relaxed overall with the girls.

I've heard that the BGs quite often cross over temporarily according to need. Certainly the showgirls perform at both.

Whilst you wont find a normal 'freelancer' in any of the bars that offer ladies drinks/bar fines, e.g. long Gun - often ex workers, who nowdays have a "sponser" - may return to chat, or perhaps make a little on the side, - or just to help keep TPE in business !
