You can log my interest as somewhere in the "burning" neighborhood. I was sincere in my offer of whatever onsite work / management might be of value. I'm sure all of us have plowed time, effort and money into things far less satisfying (even if they were successful) than finding ourselves shareholding owners in a Bangkok bar. With proper dedication and commitment, there's really no reason why it couldn't end up with the following and devotion (and customere awareness) something akin of what FLB has in Pattaya. We're all smart enough here to be able to see what works and what doesn't for other bars. And as for swimming in the shart-filled waters of doing business in Thailand, well, if you look at some of the people doing it and doing it well, it must be manageable with a little luck, a lot of hard work and a proper mix of common and business sense.
If enough members exist here to put together the upfront monies (at 10,000 baht per or whatever it takes) then that's a good start. We all know that we're all going to be bragging about the ownership to our buddies and directing them there whenever they're in BKK. Throw in a decent website, the right mix of girls, the proper "honor" paid to the Thai administrative bodies and why not? The worst: we're all out 10,000 baht, an amount which I'm sure we've all blown a lot more to end up with far less. The best: a place to call our own in the LOS, a few pennies on the dollar (or more) and potentially a really cool stock certificate to frame and hang.
For however far this thing goes, I'm in... and I sense I'm far from alone.

To be clear and defnintive, I'm in for 10,000baht and I've already made available my saloon and other management skills for onsite staff.
While most likely not as easy as we wish it to be, I think this whole venture is as doable as we want it to be. Again, you take a look at the people doing it and doing it successfully and you know that this can be done.
