I never even knew that place opened? I heard rumors during construction, but never heard about it actually opening for business.
And I think the location positioned the bar more towards the Asian clientele, and maybe what I refer to is not so interesting to the Asians? As I am not Asian I could not say for sure.
And if it was indeed open for a short while (only two or three months) I would say they had more problems then just the concept. Maybe location, target market, marketing, inability to train up staff to provide said provocative services. I think the last one there would be a big issue here in LOS, as one would need to have a core set of girls able to provide real table/lap dances and then train the other girls. In the west strip club dancing has a certain style to it and so ladies going in to that line of work know what is expected. Here in LOS all that is really expected is the BKK shuffle – the expectations here are pretty high LOL.
Many of the members club places are pretty big, and it would be asking quite a lot to train up that many Thai girls in the fine art of erotic dancing to give the right first impression on something that is totally foreign to most Thais. So if I had to guess I would say they probably lacked the necessary skill sets to provide a level of service that would keep the people coming. Then again this is the case with most places in Thailand, and why we have what we have here in LOS. Basic strip clubs where the dancing consists primarily of the BKK shuffle, members clubs where you can get stuck buying lady drinks for a bird that can be near impossible to communicate with (as I do not speak Thai), massage parlors that should not be allowed to call themselves massage anything as a massage is far down the list of actual services provided, and the ever popular beer bars where the ladies can hardly be bothered to even do so much as the BKK shuffle.
There is of course the coyote dancing but that is almost more along the lines of cabaret dancing and not really the intimate lap/table dancing that can be found in the a more western type club. Then again in most western type clubs full service is not on the menu so the ladies have become quite good at dancing their way into our wallets. Here the ladies know the quickest way to the baht is in the bed, so they try not to waste too much time/energy anywhere else. And many of them cannot be bothered to waste too much time/energy in the sack either – silly starfishy damn my luck.

If I had the money to buy, or energy to run, a gogo bar, I would try to treat customers who buy Lady Drinks more fairly. In the Philippines, I've found that when a customer buys a Lady Drink for a dancer, that lady will stay with the customer for a reasonable length of time--even if it is her turn to dance, she is permitted/required to stay with the customer who was nice enough to buy her a drink.
This is not the case in Thailand's gogo bars. I've become very reluctant, and often refuse if asked, to buy Lady Drinks in Thai bars. Too often the "Buy me Lady Drink" is a kind of scam. The girls waits until it is almost time for her to go dancing, then she hits up the customer for a drink. If he buys her one, she gives him just enough time to clink glasses before she tells him "I go dancing" and he is left sitting there, alone again. Often a team of two friends tries this trick. Or the girl will say, after a short time with the generous customer, "I go toilet, come back". She will then come back only when it's her turn to go dancing.
Treating the Lady Drink buying customer more fairly should result in happier customers (quite possibly paying more bar fines), more Lady Drink income for the girls and for the bar owners. It also looks good to prospective customers who have a look around inside the bar before deciding whether to stay or not. They will see a good number of other happy customers with girls paying attention to them, rather than the too-often seen view of customers sitting alone or with their male friends, while a group of girls are sitting with each other in the back.

Was at Sharks on Cowboy one night with a Friend and 2 ladies pressed us for drinks.... we accepted and they clinked Glasses, then left.. they returned 30mn later, clinked again and left.
We asked for the Bill and did not pay for their Drinks. Mamasan got involved and we told we refuse to pay for girls that did not even sit with us.
It's not about the money, f*** them if they think they can pull this off (and I am sure a lot of people pay without saying a thing).
