whenever in seadragon,i used to come out of Playschool and Pink Panther and just go straight over to the other side and to the left to go to Lion Bar or Bang Bang.
don't think i ever walked past any further then Playschool on the left hand side.
did you ever have any luck with the photo's of the girls in Kangaroo Bar on Bangla?.

there are also many snooker game rooms scattered around Bangkok (mainly catering to locals) and some friends have informed me that girls working there could be taken out as well. i haven't tried it yet but will certainly visit one of them when my time permit.

Blade, when you get more info on Snooker bars, don't forget to post. I'd be very interested to find a place that is cool with farang coming in and just hanging out playing with the girls. I don't have any real interest in playing a bunch of Thai hustlers of the masculine sort.

you could try a small bar down soi 11, near the federal hotel, called AVA, has pool tables upstairs, some not bad hostess's, usually very quiet, no Thai guys around, open 5pm - 2am -

It's been awhile but there was string of pool bars under the highway. opposite sukhumvit soi 1, it was called Buckskin Joe's Village. Used to be some goodlikng wool there, but I really dont know what's down there now...

2000 baht isn't getting ripped. Ŭ It's just an expensive pool lesson. Ŭ
I used to play one of the girls at Out of Bounds (now Flyers) for 1,000,000 baht a game. ŬI never lost. ŬI was in to her for about 8 million as of last count. ŬOf course I never expected to collect. ŬI would also sometimes play her for smaller amounts, 100-1000 baht. ŬIf I ever lost a game for those amounts it would just be a (very) nice tip. ŬAnd she played better when there was some money on the line, so it was generally worth the better game. ŬSadly she played horribly in those 1 million baht games. ŬEither she was being nice or the pressure of even imaginary figures that large was too much.
When I used to hang out at Out of Bounds/Flyers I would often give the girls pool lessons and some of them became noticeably better pool players. ŬThe main advice I'd give: Ŭthink about your shot and tell me what you are going to shoot next. ŬIt's not natural for many Thai pool players to think beyond the current shot. ŬI'll let you infer what you will about what that says about the average Thai pysche.
