Typical of some of the people on this forum to make a judgement not knowing the person or all the facts regarding the situation at hand. Typical.
At this point I don't think it is worth further ink, but to address the "shadow" point, I went back to the AW as the owner said he would "have a word" with those responsible. He is a friend. I have known him for about a year, exchanged e-mail weekly on a variety of topics, and have helped him with a couple of minor computer problems.
As to a more serious problem with one of the AW bar girls, a matter of thief, the people of Thailand seem incapable of knowing right from wrong and will use any excuse to avoid addressing a problem, or in this case, a crime, under any other countries' laws. That a society is so sick and preverted, from the prime minister on down, that they do not know "right" from "wrong" is the reason thailand IS and will always BE the toilet of the rest of the world. They are the losers, but are too dumb to know it. The joke is on them. All very sad, really.

On the other hand, last night the waitress Om whom someone was asking about a few months ago ("anyone ever been with her"?) informed me that she was still available for takeout. Which surprised the hell out of me.

Well I will tell you what is typical of some people on this forum. That they choose to judge Thailand, Thai society and Thai girls based primarily on their interaction with hookers and bar girls. So one hooker turns out to be crap in bed and a thief and another chose to go with a different customer. Gee what do you expect? Get a life.
