It's not natural for many Thai pool players to think beyond the current shot. ŬI'll let you infer what you will about what that says about the average Thai pysche.
Right, they often get miffed when I "luckily" end up with all these easy shots and all theirs are difficult.
That's actually true for almost all recreational pool players, but considering how many hours a day these girls play you'd think someone would have taught them better.

A little off topic but I just remembered something
Last month I was walking up Sukhumvit and noticed that a new pool bar has opened on the main road. I popped in for a cool one 'cos the girl I was with was doing a little street shopping.
It is quite a big place and all decorated in stainless steel and there are good number of new tables. I'm sure we all know that the quality of some tables is pretty grim.
I wasn't paying much attention but I think it is on Sukhumvit road, somewhere around soi 11. Mat be worth checking out.

Dave, that bar is now called Big Blue. It was previously called Big Boy before the fire. One of the few bars with UV lit pool tables. I remember shagging a girl who used to work there (I met her in Bamboo Bar though). She was really cute, not sure if she is there now.

That's the place for sure, BK. It's probably okay in the day, but after a game or two those blacklights start to freak me out. And the tables are a bit small. But it's definitely an improvement on the old Big Boy.

but the thought of playing pool with those blue neon lights freak me out!!!

christies at soi 33? will check it out then!! i noticed most pool bars have really bad conditioned tables and cues (billard cues)! not to mention bad lighting!! didnt really enjoyed them real much, except the ones at Charlies Angel and of course BK's apartment!
and BTW, theres stain on BKs table already!! saw it 2 months back, but didnt ask him. umm...must be some kinda felt conditional! hehe..
anywhere else with well maintained pool tables and ideal 9mm - 11mm tipped cues?? thanks!!

I checked out Brunswick last time I was there. Tables are pretty good, but not to many of them. There is another place between Dynasty Inn and Brunswick on same side of the road, forget the name. But they had about 14 tables plus 2 snooker tables. I shot there far about 2 hrs and the table I was on was in great shape. even had the size tips you are looking for.

Christie's only has one pool table, right? It's a decent place to hang out with a few friends and fool around with the girls, but the pool table is just a negligible consideration there, IMO.
