Just came back from 2 hours in Baccara (about 10pm - midnight). Drinks are 140bt each. Lady drinks 160bt. Don't know about BFs or LD minimums, since we didn't ask.
I know it was Monday, but Baccara was dead. Downstairs about 1/2 of the seats taken. Upstairs, where we were, seats were easy to come by. I think during the 2 hours we were there I saw about 5 girls leaving with their customer (from upstairs - don't know about downstairs).
About 10 girls dancing on the glass floor at a time. 2 shifts - one topless and other with tops. None that I saw that I would rate higher than about 7. Maybe the better looking ones were already BF'ed?
I haven't been in a while. When was the enclosed room with the small stage at the top of the stairs opened up? I kind of liked it the way it was - but the new format allows more seats.
Very few Asians. Most of the guys were sitting in groups without a girl.
From 8-10pm we were outside near Country Roads watching the parade. Very few people.
On Saturday I talked to one of the bar owners. He said his bar would make a profit (barely) this month - mainly because the first 2 weeks of the month were good. But, he has heard that several of the bars on Cowboy would lose money this month. Take it with a grain of salt...

Only 1 BF here during my stay but OMG. Got there around 9 pm on a Wed. night and headed straight to the top. I think the last two posts are relevant from the standpoint that they both chose their companions from upstairs. I have chosen a few from the down-stairs view; where only the important details can be seen, namely the ass and pussy. In retrospect; I think going upstairs is the better way!
Thank goodness it was only short time for me.

I visited Baccara twice last week. This is still the most busy and popular bar as far as I can tell. Some very beautiful girls downstairs in the "tall" shift (never made it upstairs). The neighbouring bars (Shark and...?? Arrrgh - Alzheimers) are also pretty good, with somewhat more playful girls. Nana on the other hand was pretty empty. I heard that business is down due to the political rallies in May, which has scared off many tourists. But I suspect that a more accurate explanation is that both quite a few girls and customers are sitting in front of the tely to watch the world cup these days.

Stopped in Baccara last night, bought a cute one a drink, intended to bar fine if she passed the interview. She had to go dancing, but promised to return.
I waited patiently, but after the set still no girl. WTF? The bodies onstage parted briefly, and I caught a glimpse of her across the room sitting with a Japanese guy. OK, no problem, there are lots of girls.
After I finish my glass of wine, I hand 200 to my waitress and explain that I'm not going to pay for the lady drink. The waitress looked worried, and went to speak to her supervisor. Since this is Baccara, I expected there would be a problem, but they just brought the 20 baht change, which I left as a tip. I think maybe the management is starting to 'get it' at this bar.
Suddenly, the girl magically appeared, very apologetic, and claimed she had some bad food and had to go to the toilet upstairs. Yeah, sure. "You forget me", I told her. "You want bar fine lady?", the waitress asks. Well, that was the idea, but I changed my mind and walked out. A runner for a runner. I saw the staff hand the receipt for the lady drink to the girl, I suppose she had to pay for it herself. At least she earned a commission on it.
