Say what you will about Baccara but the energy level on the second floor is higher than at any other bar in Cowboy or Nana.
Is there a farang resurgence taking place? Never seen so many westerner customers as I have this trip. So many 20-somethings.
Wish I had been here when I was that age.

i balance always between Baccara and Sharks.

It looks now that Baccarat is better.

I've taken some of the most beautiful girls I've found in Bangkok from here, but they consistently turn up to be dead fish. (especially compared to some of the best massage places).
Is this because there's no training from a Mamasan perspective in a bar vs. a Massage parlor?
If that is the case, are there bars that do specialize in trained girls with great service?

I agree with dannyyy, two post ago, I compare too between shark and bacarra, and I catched in both, but in bacarra-upper- room not down-room I had abble to choose relaxed and without the money finders womens.

I've up there half a dozen or so times in the two weeks or so I've been here and have have had the BK experience each time. The girls, even when working alone, seem to target guys in pairs or larger groups. At least that is my observation and it helps soothe my ego. The other possibility, that in my case they find a sweating, shorts-wearing, sandals-shod, perpetually scowling guy less than desirable is just not worth considering.
I rather like the inattention. If I'm interested I'll eventually call the girl over. I prefer not to spend much of my evening fighting my way through the chaff to get to the good stuff.

Like Mr. Oosik, when I went back (several times) to Baccara after Dr.Love's tour, I was avoided by the dancers like a person with lepersy. The WAITRESSES, however, hung around me wanting me to drink the entire bar.

Took a lady from Sahara, who shares a room with a Baccara girl, and has herself been two days in Baccara. She said there are 350 ladies in Baccara ???? That may explain a bit...
