I simply say that if a girl agree to do something for a price, then there is no reason to give her twice this price...
Same for me in my work, if I agree to do something for a price, then I dont expect customer to give me more...
If you look for love in Bangkok and think those lady will "love you" more if you give them 1000 bahts tip on top of the 1000/2000 bahts they ask for "service", then its OK, Tip them generously even when service is shit...Its your money and not my business, I wont ever criticise you for doing this
The result of such a behaviour is the attitude of some girls that are now like:
"ST, 1000 OK, but how mut you give me for taxi? 500 ok???" (even when you ST in an hotel 200 meters from the bar where you meet them, so no taxi involved!).
When you ask them if they live in Khorat and want to go sleep with Papa-Mama to ask for 500 bahts taxi money, reply go like "You Kiniaow farang, I no like"....Do you like such attitude? So sweet...
If another member got a girl who will go ST for a 1000 bahts and do "everything", I cant see why you have to harass him like if you are much better than him because you pay more for the same service! At the end of the day you are both mens, paying a prostitute, nothing will change this...
If it make you feel like the white knight in shiny armor to overpay, boast about it and criticise everyone who does not do as you, then go on and have a good time you rich, valiant (& horny) knight

I hope that it is understood that I would never attempt to negotiate a price for sex down below the current prices of any venue I frequent, no matter what kind of "instant relationship" (I think I termed it) is suddenly established over a few hours or nights. I feel that would be deplorable. I wouldn't do it in any shop or service...
I did mention other venues than this thread is concerned with and which may be cheaper than this one, though, because I feared that fastmover's immediate response to meatyswg's post leaned toward disparaging girls who took lower prices than he normally pays. I now see that was not the case and that fastmover merely wished to identify and condemn a certain species of disgraceful behavior on the part of reprobates--namely, freeloaders.
In many posts, I have talked about my reasons for very rarely taking girls from the standard tourist pop culture nightlife venues. Price was never one of them. To me there isn't much difference between 1,000 Thai Baht and 2,000 Thai Baht, but to the girls it's a big difference. I lean toward generosity with all... all.
In this case, I feel that it is jumping the gun a bit to accuse someone of disgustingly bragging about practicing this disgraceful behavior, when on a thread entitled "Thread Review for ST LT Survey for Soi Cowboy GoGos 1/07", some member makes a one-sentence post listing the price he paid including a short catalogue of services rendered--the price happening to be lower than what many (me too) consider a typical street rate on Soi Cowboy. Maybe The Economist could do a write up on that.

Some may construe it as such; others may not. It is, as pointed out, a free discussion forum. So that's my own interjection on that.
I make this interjection simply because, while there are certainly a lot of creeps out there who actually may practice this behavior, I myself do not know meatywsg and I would be loathe to accuse someone of such a bad thing without further evidence. Because his original post was only about one sentence long on a thread concerning prices, I feel that I do not know enough about the situation that occured, what was said, etc. There are potentially many factors involved, as IBFarang emphasized. It's surprising.
And now that I have said my say, I hope that none of us is looking to take advantage of any of these girls.
1,000...... 3,000.......... 30,000............... 100,000
I doubt any of us would accept any amount that anyone here would ever pay a girl to do any of the things we like with each other. But the girls are business women, and they know what they are doing (though I wish they were smarter about germs and babies). There may be an unresolved contradiction here. Each one of us has to come to his own terms about the practice of paying for sex at all here. There are many angles to it, and many debates have been nourished by the rich amount of perceptions concerning it.

Taxi money should be part of negotiated price, tips are for Americans,,,,,, well maybe for exceptional service a tip ( or taxi money) is warranted. Otherwise we have a contractual agreement, agreed service for agreed recompense. No arguments there.
For me it's quite important to set price and service level agreement prior to work commencment. Not necessarily at the bar but certainly before the work begins.
I usually only charge the gals 2,500 LT or 1,500 ST

As a real oldtimer, I have difficulty adjusting to current pricing, yet I do so yearn after the pretty TGs. Thus, I guess that I often over pay by the standards of this forum when I take a stunner from say Rainbow One.
But one thing that I don't do is tip or give taxi money. A deal is a deal I tell them, and they don't ever argue with me.Yet the ladies are still very much game to sleep with Oldtimer when he come to town....even though he has a reputation for snoring up a storm.

Does everyone negotiate price upfront? I actually tend not to even discuss $$ before the event and very few girls even bring the subject up.
To be honest, most times I just give the lass what I think she deserves in the morning but never less than 2K.
I rarely do ST these days (it’s an age thing!!) and I can’t recall the last time I had a pricing issue.

I'm the same way and, if they bring up the subject, I usually move on. I never had a go-go dancer complain about 2K for LT so, to make matters easy for both of us, that's what I usually paid.
But, in recent years, I've mostly had regulars stay with me, so I may be out of the loop. I know that some go-go dancers expect 3-4K for LT. I've paid it too, and I don't mind paying girls from Soi 33 that much - that's been their going rate for a long while.
Nothing wrong with negotiating and knowing where you stand, I just prefer not to do it, especially if the girl brings up the subject. Just doing what's worked well for me.

Most that ask for this amount do not expect to receive it, and some girls (many? most?) that would give you a 3-4K price quote might also say yes if your first and last discussion about price was "I want to go LT with you, can you stay until __am and I will give you 2000?"
This is probably not true of lookers in bars that Japanese frequent.

usvirgin,, I suggest you do NOT use this theory when taking Baccara gals,,, In fact I would suggest this is a very dangerous metholgy.
1. Man enters Champagne room,, orders 6 black cokes and several lady drinks,, on the way out said man leaves 2,000BHT on table as that is the "going rate",,, I see trouble here.
2, Same man enters nice Japanese restaurant,, has top range Sushi and drops 200BHT on the table as that is the going rate ( for normal Thai dinner),, once again I see trouble and several Samurai swords.
Where I shop I see pricings,, 50 baht per kilo for mango,, 300 per kilo for grapes etc etc,, even Maccas has pricings up front!!!.
Too assume a price borders on arrogance and does neither the provider nor the customer justice.
Services to be rendered and hours / pricing need to be negotiated before completion of said contract in order for both the service provider and the customer to be truly satisfied.
To amplify the point, lets look at one of the more succesfull enterprises in BKK today,, Eden club,,, the price is set,, service level set,, both customer and provider know what the deal is.
I would suggest that if you have had zero complaints giving 2k in the morning that you are in fact purchasing 1.5 K goods. You would certainly be getting complaints if you where taking 3 K goods for 2K.
P.S I have some land in isaan for sale,, I'm happy to take the going rate ( its flooded and beside a chemical factory).
