I have checked out AW once and found the selection to be rather mediocre indeed. Perhaps, it was a bad night or I got in too late (22:30-23:00PM), but I left the bar by myself, and I am not a very picky person!
Too many other bars with far better selection, e.g. Rainbow bars, etc.
IMHO.

There is also a few underage girls working there - there's one girl with a piercing between her chin and bottom lip that clearly looks underage (and damn ugly - what is the point of that piercing?)
I was also advised by my pick up for the night (while we were picking out another girl) that her friend had only just turned 17
I refrained from taking up the offer - my girl gives me a funny look "Why you not like?" I politely explained the obvious legalities and got outta there before I had to witness either a pedovile or a clueless punter pick either one of em up

I never believe the age a bar girl tells me.
Often they tell you what they think you want to hear. Most guys get turned on by the thought of a young/under age girl so this is perhaps what she was thinking...
but clearly it didn;t work with you !!

Are the stage shows at AW as good as they were a couple of years ago? On my first and only trip to LOS I visited AW. The stageshow was completely captivating, almost psychedelic. Something about Thai girls dancing to Rammstein while wearing leather chaps and cowboy hats while cracking whips. Totally intoxicating...

Propey, it's still very much of the Ramstein thing and best show in BKK (along with Long Gun, SC - IMHO).
The last number of the AW shows is new and totally different though: 4 very young girls in a lively Thai folk typo dance and music in some nice but innocent dress... Super cute to say the least, a real must see...

Was in AW recently, it was much better than last year, new toilets, new shows and some new girls. The Vanessa Mae show is brilliant, I also like the "traditional" Thai show mentioned above. AW had fallen a bit but they seem to have their act sorted out again.
