Friday night, and its time to visit Suzie Wong's. Happy hour is until 9pm, so coke is 75bt (goes up to 120bt after 9).
One thing I like about Suzie Wong's is that the bill is very easy to read. What you owe is in big type at the bottom. It also has your table number, customer number (we were customer #9 for the night), and server number. They also have a list of drinks and prices right at the table. Seemed pretty professional to me.
First bar I've been to on this trip with fully nude dancers. About 12 of them to start off the night (down to 7 by mid-night). Other set featured top less dancers, about 8 of them. Still 6 left at mid-night. This is probably why LDs are 150bt. The girls get 50bt from every LD.
No smoking and no ashtrays that I saw. Didn't smell any smoke. Pretty nice environment for a go-go. Music wasn't too loud and even featured songs that I knew.
I saw several good looking girls, including #30 and #32. Both had a lot of LD tickets stashed away.
As opposed to last night at Tilac, which was pretty cheap for me, tonight was more expensive. That's because I'm a sucker for personable servers. Last night I ended up with 2 of them and bought 3 LDs each. Needless to say, they were quite happy (one even waved all her LD tickets to one of the nude dancers who had none).
BFs are 600bt, which is pretty much standard in Cowboy. When I asked one of the servers ST and LT prices she said "up to you". That can be dangerous - always better to establish service and price before making the deal IMO.
At 10:20 they had their shows. 4 10-minute shows. First one pretty tame with girls dressed in black (considering all the nude dancers). 2nd more wild as 5 girls pole danced and did splits. 3rd your classic "girl does girl" with 5 girls. And the last one was 4 girls doing soapy showers on stage. My servers got to help clean up after that...
As far as punters, it was empty when we came in around 8:20pm. 13 server girls with nothing to do and 8 dancers looking bored. By 9:30 it was pretty full and by show-time it was full but not packed. Interestingly, in the middle of the shows quite a number of people left - must have seen them before. Bar was almost empty again around 11pm when a hugh influx of soccer fans appeared. By the time we left the bar was pretty full again.
Quality of the girls pretty similar to Tilac. Of course, you only need one (or a small number) to tickle your fancy.
All in all, another fun night in Cowboy. Tomorrow back to Nana...
Edit In: I forgot to mention the ladyboy who was acting like a mamasan. She had evening dress on (not like the girls) and would regularly go and talk to one of the girls. Servers confirmed she was a LB. Don't recall seeing one at the other bars I have visited this trip.

I agree; those "up to you's" can be a minefield. Whenever I get an "up to you", I always make sure of the price BEFORE I leave the bar, and most times, the menu, unless she is, to quote Sporadic, "just one you have to see on the end of your nard."

Actually, with all due respect, most girls who say "up to you," mean it is up to you, even in go go's.
"Up to me" typically means, for me, paying the going rate (1.5 or 2K for LT, depending on the level of enthusiasm and, for me, GFE qualities that were thrown in). I have never had a problem with a girl who told me "up to you." And I have never discussed money again once those lovely words were uttered (they are code for, let's just pretend, i.e. GFE).
A very few times I have had, admittedly, a little bit of trouble with a girl who didn't say anything, and whom I didn't ask for a quote. But even those are rare. In my experience, a girl who wants a set price that is above the going rate, or who is scared you are going to stiff her (in more than one way), is going to claim a price at the outset.
Generally speaking, when a girl does that to me, I typically take a pass. Because I am all about the GFE, and money and love don't mix well. But every now and then I have made an exception. Because I really really really wanted this particular TG (for the evening). Sigh. And I was usually disappointed. But not always. Because as always, it is good to keep an open mind in LOS about what a girl is thinking or what a situation offers.
The best things often come/cum where you least expect it.

Think it also depends on if you're "known" or not. If not, there COULD be some "tourist price" windfall expectations at work, leading to disappointment, leading to problems.
If you're known, that's not a problem. I remember asking 1 girl (in the bar) how much should I give her, and her response was "Why are you asking me this? EVERYONE knows how much you pay."
My experience is, by getting the price/menu out of the way, you are free to go for the GFE, eliminating those landmines from the path.
