Ball King's tables were great. So were their cues and balls, but at 30 B/game it was a bit pricey. 20 B was the going rate for other bars.

big pool fan too. usually play bamboo on soi 3. had a thing with a girl who worked there for a while.
woodstock in nana is alright, shoddy tables but good tunes and always plenty of random tg's kicking around.
for snooker the blue moon club on soi thonglor is maybe the one somebody mentioned. not too many farangs, but no hassles, pretty girls in red and black uniforms. not sure if they go but they are friendly and they spot the colours for you. no women players when i was there, but a nice club if you just want a few frames before going out.

Another new pool bar in town. It is called the Pool Factory which is located along Sukhumvit Road (opposite Landmark Hotel), between Soi 5 and Soi 7. Looks like the same concept as Big Blue (metal decor and UV lighting). 2 tables on the first storey and and 5 tables on the 2nd storey.
Didn't stay there long enough as it was unbearably warm there. The aircon was set at 24-25 degrees. Shit! They are too "khii nieow" to bring it down to 19 degrees.

A pool room that is too hot is impossible to play in as it really affects the stroke. Hopefully they at least have some talc to help out, but I would never bring my own cue to such a place.

Went to the Swan Bar last night on Soi 4.......about 250 meters past the new Hilary Bar. Actually I was in the Hilary which was packed and almost zero chance to get a game there. Some nice lookers though and the management quite assertively push the girls onto u. But back to the Swan Bar. I have not been here for a couple of years. Huge place of about 25 tables I would guess. Never seen it very full and last night no exception. Pretty much a zero atmosphere, but some good music. And if u want to play some pool, this is a good place. Good tables and guaranteed table time. If u are a world champion forget it but if you just like to shoot for fun there are some decent players there. The surprise was the girls. One, very friendly. Two, some really good lookers.......though quite a few are very young. Three, most of them want to go home with u, but they don't hustle much. In fact I was not hustled at all....just had a good time. Bought a couple of girls some drinks and they looked after me well. As I said....don't expect atmosphere...u get more of that at New Hilary or Country Road (floors 2 and 3)........but u do get good pool and the bonus of some cute and nice girls.

Best pool in my opinion is the Ball In Hand down Soi 4 in the Rajah complex on the second floor. Great tables and staff. Excellent air-con. Check it out.

I do not play pool I play it on the computer but last night I was looking for a gig that I missed for a while. She was not there but some old barlady chatted me up and I had a great time looking when the BG and F plaing some ind of game were the winner takes the pot of 2000 THB. Everyone has to put in one ball or something beats me but it fun. Its was name Scala or something next to beer garden on suk soi 7
