They all agreed to the 1500 figure but I tipped 4 which got it up to 2000--they were thrilled and gave phone numbers for me to call any time. The 1000 was actually a ST that decided to stay. If you are paying more, you don't get better performance only get on their overpayers list IMHO.

What the..? Maybe i'm doing something wrong. I haven't been to a go go in ages but last saturday me and a newbie friend decided to do a little boozing and window shopping at soi cowboy. That sure as hell weren't the quotes we were getting. We dropped by dollhouse, sharky, bacara, deja vu, and a couple smaller venues.
I got good eye contact and vibes everytime but as soon as I enquired on the price it was always 2k ST/4k LT. Of course I sure as hell am NOT going to pay that when there are so many venues in town for soi cowboy quality or better pussy for cheaper. Yes, I know to bargain..but i'm really wary about getting a serious starfish experience with girls are throwing that figure out right off the bat.

I suppose some guys have a top earner manner and air about them and they will get quoted far higher rates.
Then there are the guys who don't discard the 18 carat gold ring or medallion or the armani suit. They'll get quickly sized up as to what they can afford.
And that is just it.
The girl is initially not quoting you her rate, She is quoting what in her estimation you can pay according to how she sees you.
So if you are quoted 4,000 baht in Soi Cowboy, you should be very pleased at the compliment being paid to you.
The girls quote these prices because they expect you to bargain down to the price that she already has as acceptable in her mind.
However, if you are quoted a higher price and she doesn't come down from that, just face the fact that maybe she is being choosey and just doesn't fancy taking you up on your offer.
Never mind.
There are always plenty more who will leap in to fill the gap.
On the other hand, if you've had a bad night, fallen out of the taxi, downed eleven beers, got into a fracas and taken some punches, made the hospital bandages a bit dirty, ate bad food and vomited down your front, maybe the lady is just letting you down gently.
Come to think of it, I've only been quoted a 1000 baht in Soi Cowboy, so either I'm asking the right girls or unknowingly, I'm being insulted by the inference that I am a cheap charlie and/or just lacking in the elusive spondulicks.

I never ever asked a girl for a quote. And hardly any girl (of many) ever wanted to fix a price... They just come along... from all kinds of venues, may it be SC, NEP, BGS7, PP, Spicey or CM2...  Oh, maybe it's my 18 carat pair of Armani shoes...
I pay between 1K and 2K for ST and between 2K and 3K for LT depending on point of contact and performance... Never more... No one ever complained... ...probably because of my 9" tongue... (good laugh, thanks LS)
