Well, in a 3-night drunkfest going round the bars in BKK, Angelwitch was the only bar we went to twice (and it was more fun the second time round).
I didn't find the girls to be aloof or have an attitude problem at all. I found them to be easy-going and genuinely fun to be around.
Perhaps we just got lucky... but on two separate nights and hanging out with different girls, I think there's more to it than just luck.

Just picking up on what Lofty wrote on the previous page....about the attitude of the girls and Angelwitch not really having appealed to him in the past.
I think it is a valid point to make.
We all like bars for particular reasons.
And we don't go to all bars for the same reasons all the time.
If I have to meet some guys or a friend to discuss anything or even just have a friendly chat about the world, I'm not going to suggest a bar where all conversation is drowned out by the volume of the music.
I'll pick one of the few bars that are quiet and whose employees keep their distance unless otherwise invited to join us.
If I want female company and light banter, I will choose a bar that provides that.
If I want a girl to cling like a leech to me while I drink my beer, or caress my genitals while I look at the dancers, I'll chose one of those physically intimate places.
If I'm just in the mood to let the visual images of purely naked ladies wash over me in my stupour, Cactus in Cowboy is an ideal.
If I want the same but with a little more active involvement, I'd be off to Sheba's or Baccara or Shark or Deja Vu.
If I want to see some really good shows and dancing as well, Rawhide is my stop.
From seajohn's posted info, if I want that and some political discussion, I'll head for Long Gun, if I feel that I can endure the crush.
If I want a blow-job, it will definitely be the Star of Light in Patpong 2. I will want one and it will be no use my going to the Players or Gulliver's for that, at least not on the premises.
If I want to bar-fine a girl and spend some time with her, I will go to particular bars where I know I will most probably find someone with whom I would like to spend that time and I wont go to certain other places.
If I want to hear certain music, Thai, Rock, whatever, I'll choose a bar that provides that, for I know that if I go to a bar that concentrates on dust-bin lid music ( sorry, all you afficionadoes ) I wont be able to have a good relaxing time.
My mood for particular things is not constant.
So, at times, Angelwitch will really go down well. I know that I wont have to deal with the attitudes of some of the more established girls in there, because I'll only choose to talk to a recent recruit, if at all.
At other times, I wil steer clear of the place, as with most bars.
I think that's the same for most guys.
I may be wrong.
There are so many bars and each one of them is different.
One just has to know what type of bar will be satisfying to you on a particular day.
I definitely wouldn't want to go to Angelwitch every night. That would get boring very quickly. But for the infrequent occasion, it can be a great little bar.
Mind you, there are a few bars, very few, like the Star of Light, where you would want to get stuck in every night. But then, costs mount up over the month, year, decade. And I recognise that it is not everyone's cup of tea.

Has AW always been topless? My 1st night on this trip was about 10 days ago. If they were topless, then I must have been very drunk.
I've been there 5 of the last 6 nights. Each and every show has been topless. Some are quite nice; most are almost as flat as I am. I know about attitude, but they have all been exceptionally nice this trip.

Many (most) of the Bars in Cowboy are currently Topless at least one Dancing shift out of two. Only a couple of Bars in Nana on my trip two months ago & I remember AW being so. Just like the good old days!
