meaty I am sure you are probably right maybe. But why bother? so many places...if I feel scammed just go elsewhere. I dont know dave, but I did email him and got no response.
I am sure you are right it was miscommunication. or the weather. or the stars. But I can go elesewhere

Lucky6666, this is nothing personal so please don't take it that way (enough flames and fights on this forum !) but if you didn't confirm the possible scam and you didn't try to rectify the possible scam at the time, and were only left with a conclusion based on one servers actions then it's a little unfair to post a report claiming a confirmed scam perpetrated by the bar manager himself !
JMHO but I may have written your report something like this...
"I went to AW nana two times, asfter getting twitter updates of specials from Dave. funny thing was, at no point were the special offers given to me when I checked my bill. I wasn't impressed but didn't have time to find Dave to see what the score was, if you're going there for the specials check with your server or Dave that they're still on offer.
Ok ladys. But a distatesful feeling not receiving the special offer that was advertised on Twitter. Back to RB 4 for me"
Not having a go, but can you see what I mean? There are enough genuine rip-off scams circulating Thailand at this time and facts are hard to find, adding to the frenzy with 'conclusions without checks' makes things worse.

I love the Isaan show with the 2 girls banging long bamboo poles on the stage to the music while 2 (very talented) girls do a traditional dance of stepping in/out of the poles. Keep expecting to see an ankle snapped but hasn't happened so far.
On the other hand, the "lesbian" show of 1 girl dancing for 2 girls dressed like guys to Tina Turner's "Private Dancer" is just plain disturbing.

Each to their own, I guess. I find it to be exactly the opposite. The Pattaya operation is too large, the "ambiance" cold and impersonal, and the majority of the girls plain to downright right unattractive.
