I don't think any other Cowboy bar has a revolving dance floor. You may be thinking of Carnival in Nana? Although in the past year it's turned all-ladyboy.

The "Super Star" #9 is back. I haven't seen her there for about 6 months. Not sure how long she's been back, I don't go in all the time. No "official" report....yet.

Sunday night Koolbreeze and I visited "The Original Dollhouse". That's what the sign inside says.
Place seemed pretty empty when we got there around 9pm. Happy hour until 9:30, so our cokes were 65bt. Don't know what they went up to after happy hour, since there was no list and we didn't ask. They used the same billing software as Suzie Wong's and Angelwitch. Was told by a punter than LDs were 130bt, but I don't know for sure.
Nice atmosphere. Servers weren't pushy for ordering more drinks and didn't shake my coke can to see if it was empty. Dancing girls didn't bother you unless you called one over.
Place has at least 4 small TVs downstairs and 1 big screen. There is an upstairs also, which I didn't notice at first. It actually had more people than downstairs and was a bit more crazy than downstairs. Bars are both upstairs and downstairs.
I found the seats fine, but KB didn't like the backrest. Tables for drinks very, very small. Servers were very good about wiping up water from the tables quickly and keeping things clean.
3 sets of dancers, about 8-10 girls in each. 2 sets topless (or mostly topless - a couple of girls didn't shed their bras). 1 set nude, except for lacy belts. Girls about the same quality as Tilac. Several good looking girls, including #24 and #38. YMMV.
They had a "Barter Cards Welcome" sign along with a sign saying they accepted VISA and MC (and maybe others as well). I assume "Barter" meant credit card.
Shows were at 10 and 11pm. 10pm was about 10 minutes of 3 girls pole dancing. 11pm was 4 girls nude wiggling around. KB said it was the worst of the shows we have seen in the various bars. Girls were nice looking, though.
There was a revolving stage - almost identical to Shark's except for the placement. Usually 4 girls on it. The music was fine.
One surprise was the bathroom, which is upstairs. Clean, with soap AND paper towels to dry your hand. First place I've seen this trip that has that.
Lots of signs for Skydiving, with references to Australia. Don't know if they are selling skydiving in Thailand or trying to get you to Australia, or both.
I liked the atmosphere at the Dollhouse. A place worth visiting, IMO.

That's one thing rarely reported on, but appreciated. When I was there earlier this year, the music just about drove me out of some bars. 
Guess I'm showing my age... Back in MY day, there'd be rock with some bkk disco (at least once a night, "one night in bkk", "tarzan boy", etc.). Now, what goes for music... You'd think the owners would be more in tune with what customers preferred, but then again, maybe they are... I'm certainly one of the senior members in any bar, and I have yet to find any bar that offers a "seniors' discount". 
I find that my tolerance for tunes is directly proportional to the attractiveness of the bar's ladies. Only in Tilac, and that only ONCE, was there an evening where the dj was playing "my" kind of tunes.
Again, great reports.

I agree with you. Rarely is music mentioned in any report - but music is often a reason you enjoy/hate the particular place.
The problem is - everyone's taste in music is different. I like it if 1) I actually recognize some songs and like said songs, the beat is good and gets me swaying, and 3) the music isn't blaring so loud that I can't even think - let alone talk with any companions (male or female).
OTOH, great looking girls and great attitude will often trump music or anything else about a bar.

I hardly ever notice the music. I try a LOT of different places when I'm wandering around Cowboy. I stop in sit for a bit and have a beer. I can usually tell pretty quick if there is anything that I like. After many more stops to other bars I'm blitzed and can't remember what/if there was ANY music playing. Also doesn't help if you are drinking with ibfarang or BK.

Agreed. Trouble is, the music I like, classic rock, seems to be going the way of my hairline, receding,  rather than my waistline, expanding. 
As for volume, I prefer it to be loud enough that I can sing along  WITHOUT disturbing the table next to me  , yet low enough that I can have a conversation with the girl seated next to me  .
