Is it just me getting older and uglier, or is it the girls trying to improve their cash flow in the low season? More and more I hear quotations for 2K baht ST.
Deja Vu, Baccara (standard pricing there per rumors), Rawhide, LG, Shark, newly remodeled Our Place (actually the girl there quoted 2.5K but she was pretty hot), Sheba's to name at least a few.
Don't get me wrong, they usually end up taking 1.5K but this is a really bad trend.
Just an observation but a recent one.

it always amazes me how Thai logic works...
less customers so more choice for customer therefore price goes up...
7 days so I hope the situation resolves itself in the next week.. Am I a cheap charlie for only paying 2K LT... most of the time...

good to know SBob.. I did try and explain economics to a thai girl once when she asked for 3K
How if I paid she would ask the same of others and then it would be 3.5k and so on and so on until we decided it would be cheaper for us to go to the phillies and the Thai economy would then fail etc etc...
Somehow she did not quite get the point.. however she did agree on LT for 2K... but that might be to shut me up LOL 55555

Usually I offer the girls THB 1000 LT plus barfine, and promise a tip (100 - 500 + 100 taxi) if I am happy at noon the day after. Most girls accept this and usually they make me soo happy that I had to pay the tip.
Sometimes a lady ask for mor and then we have to negotiate, I have never accepted a LT paying more than THB 1500. If one lady cannot accept my offer, another will...

Now, now, Mel !!! He may have been talking about his experiences in the last Millenium. or even confusing LT with ST and mixing it up with a little innocent fantasy.
On the other hand, he could be Brad Hit or to give him the benefit of the doubt, just lying through his teeth.
I know in these last few months since the high season has not been as high as is usual, girls, at closing time in Cowboy have offered the rental charge as 1000 baht for a short-time and that is with a bar-fine paid separately and a hope for a tip on top of that for good service, but know that it may not be forth-coming., post-coming.
But as for 1000 baht long-time from a good-looking, quality Go-Go, girl, dream on, unless, in her presence you've licked your eyebrowes with your twelve inch tongue.
On the other hand, if the guy has confused the back of Hualampong Railway station bars with a Go-Go area, he might just be telling the truth, the hole truth and nothing butt the truth.
