I am coming to Bangkok in April and am meeting up with a Dutch friend of mine who is female. Will she be welcomed in the likes of Nana plaza and Soi Cowboy? She is extremely open minded about everything and likes the girls and boys.
Any information would be helpful in preventing any awkward moments.

I used to manage gogos and without exception I've seen all foriegn ladies that entered with a good attitude treated VERY well (thise with a bad attitude were just ignored).
I've also taken some somewhat reluctant female friends from the west, on different occasions, to GoGo bars and they were amazed at how much fun they had. One pair went back every night of thier stay in Bangkok. And they were not even bisexual. (As far as I know  ).

Thanks everyone for the response. I have passed your comments onto my dutch fem friend. I will get her to join the forum and post a trip report on her experience of the Bangkok nightlife after her visit.

I wrote something she's likely to hear a lot:
Foreign women are very beautiful, no? (roughly)
If she goes into the nightlife areas this will be said while she is being stroked by some girl who is marveling at her pale skin, foreign shaped nose and lighter eyes. I used to visit my friends in a beauty salon and whenever the foreign women would come in you could hear them chatting with each other about how lovely they are.
