Gotta check out this one on the next trip. A very convenient location. I hope they've nice equipment. From the outside it looks as if it might be a bit upscale, would love to get an early report.

Same owner as Gullivers on Khao San & Route 66 @ RCA...
Gullivers gets alot of freelancers, and a few girls just interested in checking out the farang scene. These guys know how to set up a pub.... if they can attract some of their RCA crowd....wow!!

The staff at Gullivers KhaoSan, generally pretty cute, and most friendly to the travellers there. Not supposed to go with customers - or make it look obvious, anyway (I went out with one when first in BKK).
Also a lot of gays amongst the staff - but never heard of any hassles

Hey,
I check out Gulliver's Tavern on Sukhumvit Soi 5. This is a really nice bar. It kind of reminded me of some bars back at home. It was very clean, had a lot of pool tables, and at the end of the bar it had a huge flat screen TV.
The staff was very friendly, and the food was very good. The prices were not bad at all. The one nice thing was the Heineken  girl!!! I think her name was Meow, she was 18 or 19, very CUTE and friendly. That green and white outfit was so nice. I came back to Gulliver's a couple of times just for her. 
I will be going back to BKK in about 4 months, and will be heading back to Gulliver's Tavern for sure!!!
