last week wed the 5th. bahtman, santaklaus, and i decided to check out the go go scene and headed to rainbow2 at NEP after a good meal at Gullivers.
first got in, and wow. don't remember a gogo with many young cute TG's on the stage. maybe a 25% rate. since usually i only see 5% which are worth a look at other bars.

I could not stop laughing reading your interesting report - very good one. Man, we could find such a girl here in SanFrancisco for same price. I am serious. I come to LOS only once a year for only 2 days. If I have the same starfish problem like you have, it would ruin all my short vacation. ABC! forget beer bar and Go-Go bar, may be it is safe to just stick to Poisedon, Mirage and Pegasus if one can afford it. Right? R2 is notorious for this kind of thing - it's not just the occasional BG. Seems to be built into the culture of the place now.
Still, at least Supaporn got off lightly at B1.5k. The going rate to have an R2 girl take the piss for 30 mins or so is B2k.
This bar is fine for an initial beer and some window-shopping - the girls really ARE something to look at. Bar atmosphere isn't bad either. But when it comes to extracurricular activities, I think R2 just gives the GGs a bad name.
Just like a couple of equally popular bars in Patpong (eg KC2) give the Pong a bad name. Pity - too many guys get stung once and then assume ALL the bars are like that.

NIce for window shopping but better to take away from elsewhere.
