Hi everyone,
I am a newbie who face an unpleasent night at King Castle 1 at Patpong. Let me briefly tell you guys my experience yesterday night.
I was there around 8pm (BKK time). Not much customer. 2 girls sat we me most of the time. Having a good time with the girsl and staff too. I think I am too kind and keep buying alot of drinks to the girls, PR girls, mamasan and the waiter and waitress. Maybe the alcohol taking effect at that time. Finnaly around 9pm pay for the 2 girls bar fine (5 drinks each at 80 Baht). Thought of going to Lucifer disco (recommended by one of the girl). No one at all. So, the girls recommend to go back to King Castle 1 and I agreed. During the 1/2 an hour, one of the girl meet up with her client??? So, she never come back to me and ask PR girl to tell me she is drunk, vomitting etc.... I don't really understand Thai at all. So, I don't really know what they are talking about. But I gather this is what happen from the other girl.
I feel so piss of and gave a tips to the both of the girls and left the place and go to Rainbow 2 at Nana.
I am just too piss off and writing this at the forum. Maybe I should be smarter in future. Pay bar fine when you about to leave or once you pay, never go back to that place.
Hope I will learn from this lesson.......

well this is patpong, they are very good on spotting newbies and cheating on them. nevertheless even i do kive in bangkok and are well known in most places, it sometimes happens to me too. so what i usually do is go back to the mamasan or better the person running the place and demanding the barfines for the girls back as they did not leave with you why pay barfine then? i know it is not a lot of money getting back but the particular girls in question usually are getting a ramp by the management and have to pay the lost barfine for the bar from thei own pocket. it will be a lesson for some of them for the future and you can prove to the king 1 that you are not so easy to cheat as they might thought you are. honestly i have to admit that king 1 is certainly the most notorious and arrogant bar in whole bangkok regarding to this. i can not remember barfining a girls their last time, it must have been more than 2 years ago as the attitude of most of them is so miserable!

If I remember correctly, her name sound like "Ang" / "Aung". She does not have a number like the rest of the girls. I don't really know why? Anyway, I believe they should remember me as "Andy from Singapore" cos I am the only idoit to spend so much in one bar. :{ But I have to compliment the other girl who sat with me. She is good, but just to pushy for the "shower", which I don't really like.
I have to agreed that, there are some pretty girls in King Castle 1.

FWIW, I actually find KC2 marginally worse than KC1. Of that cluster of 3 Kings' bars, Camelot is probably the best - but it also plays fast & loose at every opportunity.
This is all a great pity. The first-ever BG I encountered was at KC2 - she was lovely, and although I was as clueless a newbie as ever lived, there were no problems of any kind. But that was 10 years ago now.
As things stand, I think these bars (which are obviously in a prime location and get many ill-deserved plugs from guidebooks, etc) almost single-handedly wreck Patpong's reputation. God knows how many people get switched off PP for ever by bad experiences at these places. Some of the other King's bars are still fine, so I'm not quite sure what the problem is. Crap mamasans?
P4P in LOS isn't entirely free-flow. There ARE some pretty firm rules - and one is that a BG who has accepted your BF is obliged to offer you sex (the only exceptions are if you turn ugly or you specifed a 'no sex' deal like dinner). If she does not, then she has extracted the BF from you under false pretences, and you are entitled to have it back. Letting things like this slide just encourages them to cheat someone else, and louse up his night too.

OK, I am pissed off now.  King's Group HAD the best reputation of not ripping off their customers regardless if they are a newbie or not, but now due to all the complaints that I have read about King's Group makes me wonder: Is there actually a bar that won't rip you off in Patpong?

Well, I'd be surprised if Safari ripped anyone off - that's a superb GG bar by any standard (slightly unconventional formula too). In general, I'd say most of the downstairs PP bars are as straight as most of the Nana ones, and a lot of their girls aren't especially mercenary either. They do NOT deserve the reputation the mainstream K bars give this street. Ý
But, of course, yer fresh arrivals take one look inside the KC1s, KC2s & Camelots of this world and just can't resist. They get ripped off. They write PP off and depart to pastures new. Pity.
