Literally - Just got back from a "flyer" (3 days). First night I was amazed at how quiet the whole place was.
Wandered down Cowboy and at about 10 p.m was one of only 3 customers in Long Gun which is often held up as the flagship go-go here. Dissapointed I wandered lsightly further afield.
Tempted into After Skool by one of the lovelies outside and WOW this place was rocking. Packed to the rafters by 11 and there was "some" action going on. Sat for two hours and the place was an absolute hoot - saw 3 BJs being given at the bar and one HJ in the usual "corner". One girl speadeagled across the bar while some guy literally rubbed off between the cheeks of her butt - heck it was almost like the old days 
Maybe not to everyones taste, but if your looking for somewhere that doesn't seem to be in the doldrums at the moment I heartily suggest this is worth a look.
Down side was - spent a bloody fortune. the girsl were not ultra pushy but they did like to try their luck.

Is After Skool in the same location and name in Soi Cowboy ? Looking at the recent map (07/03) of Cowboy from http://groups.yahoo.com/group/sanukmaps/
It looks like After Skool is now maybe Sunshine ? In the older version of this map, many of the other bars is listed as bars that offer other services such as hjs and bjs as well, but not on the current map. Are the other Cowboy bars still offering the same type of services like After Skool ?

maddogck1, you don't need a map to local After Skool. Just head over to Soi Cowboy. You'll find in less than 1 minute. For similar services, you could try Toy Bar (next to Long Gun 'Lucky Star' ).

Here's excerts from my FRs on Aftersool. Definitely a fun place ...
Day 1
Hit Soi Cowboy ... Afterskool ... I've never been here. SO5 is a legend here, and is welcomed back with open arms! The 4 of us are pounced on by at least 12 girls. Rubbing neck, back, dick, etc. We each pick one to talk to and get rid of the rest. No problems. I'm talking to a sweet young thing from Issan (surprise!), bring over another BG for intepretation. I get offers to go to the "Bad Boy Corner". I ask SO5 what that is ... he explains ... I love Thailand! I'm not really into getting a BJ while the rest of the bar is watching ... maybe later!

thanks for verifying some facts. i was just a bit concern as some of the info on those maps change. Before, After Skool and Toy Bar was listed and was labeled as a bar where BJ and HJ were offered. But the new map did not list the bars or their services. I'll be hanging a bit more in Soi Cowboy (as compared to Nana before) this time around as I'll be staying in Westin Grande.

There was a crackdown recently (yes...another one)...where the police decided that the name on the bar MUST match the name on the license. After School was named Sunshine Bar on the license. Hence they got closed for a week and hung a big sign outside with Hand Jobs here on it. Actually the sign said Sunshine.
That sign I'm sure has since disappeared so maybe they've had their license revised, or the police just forgot...who know's......or care's that much.
As for spending time in Cowboy as you are in the westin....jeez you don't get about much....there's a whole world out here......and it's pretty interesting.....

Was at this bar in february and am going back to BKK next month. Was empty in the bar and I can understand why - found it very expensive, one of the girls there wanted 2,000 baht to leave with me and this was after I had spent a small fortune buying Tequila for her and her friends. Can't remember there names - something like Teap - but it did put me off a little bit, think I will try Nana Plaza this time..
PS Never made it to bad boys corner - was not getting my old boy out in public!

I was there last night and found the place empty without any decent girls either. What's worse was that none of the girls were all that interested in trying to get business. I'm not sure what is the current status of Nana as I haven't able to make it there yet during this trip, but Cowboy seems like heading towards that direction. A girl in Pam's bar wanted a lot of money in my last trip there in March. I was in Dollhouse for a few minutes last night, and a girl that sat with me wanted a lot of tip just for sitting with me. It was then that only one man could save my evening. Marc.
