I've stopped by a few times. Girls were mediocre at best. The one I took out was fun in the bar but a total starfish at the hotel. Not recommended.

Girls range from skank to "do in a pinch", but it does have a couple of virtues: opens early (like 9:30am) and has a very serviceable "happy room" upstairs with large bed and decent infrastructure. The room fee is b300 for 2 hours and the owner will slide the time if you are a regular. All bars should adopt this business model.

Can anyone confirm if a girl Khun Teak (Tik) is still there? I had a couple of great evenings wth her back in 2003.

Christ - I remember my visit to the Charming as if it was yesterday!!
I think it took all of 5 minutes to arrive at the bar, order a drink, meet a cute girl before I was upstairs getting blown!!
All in all an excellent start to my Bangkok trip - now over a year ago!!

Dropt in last night. Barfine seemed to be 400 (reduced?), room 300 as previously stated, girl 1000. Fairly sexy, great mouth; I'd bought her a jack and coke and maybe she'd had other drinks before (I got there about 8 or 9) because upstairs she was a licking sex maniac. Seemed to be almost nothing she wouldn't do! Maybe in subsequent visits that just may be true. Anyway lots of fun, most I've had from a bg in a while. Name ahem means one in Thai, so you can easily figure it out without me kissing and telling, and man I do mean kissing every which way! Fun. And yes I do concur that room time didn't really seem to be much of an issue, which was quite a nice feeling.
