Hi,
I was just wondering...
Say a gogo bar has 50 girls or so and is on a good location. How many people do these bars see in a day?
I.E. Regardless of bar-fining a girl out of the place.
I am very interested. Thanks.

It depends on the popularity of the bar (which can change from month to month), the day of the week and (most importantly) the season.
In late January & February, most of the BKK bars were quite busy. I'd say that a popular tourist-oriented GG like KC2 on Patpong would see several 100 customers in the course of a night (in fact, they seemed to dragoon in extra girls to cope). Right now, they're relying heavily on pernickety expat custom. Not uncommon to go into even popular bars on a weeknight and find only a handful of guys in there.
Which is great. As a customer, you're suddenly gold dust instead of an annoying waste of space. But there's nothing worse than bowling into a GG stone cold sober only to find you're the only guy in the place. Sit there in conspicuous isolation feeling like a complete perv (which is only accurate, I suppose).

as i always go i low season,i find not very crowded.
i used to frequent a Go-Go which opened ad 3pm and for 2-3 hours i was the only customer and i loved it.
all those girls to myself.......
and even at night many places were very quiet.
this is of course Phuket i am talking about.

those few that do almost break even on the Girls/drinks, then of course still have to pay the police and tax ... tax collectors just arrive, and give you a massive bill, in true thai style however, you then offer to pay alot less, and eventually you bargain an amount ! Was a time when Bars wernt taxed, but they have since woken up - as for payments to the boys in brown, well, needless to say, they have always been a neccessity

certainly better in investments in thailand then owning a gogo bar. the least thing i want to do/have is a gogo bar! hassle with the girls, the brown guys, taxes, to cope with customers by being there all the time!
i guess same like prison. why locking yourself in a particular joint when there is so much talent around!
