I found no thread about Counter 39, so here is what I know.
It is on a soi that is off of Soi 39. To get there, basically walk 2 minutes down Soi 39 from Sukhumvit and walk left at your first sub-soi. It will be 50 steps in front of you. It is on the 3rd floor (restaurant on ground, japanese karaoke place on 2nd floor). I don't think there is a membership available, but I didn't ask, we certainly are not members.
McFly, Bestmate and I went there last night about 9:30pm. There were a couple of other customers there. The drinks we had were 300 baht each (beer and mixed drinks), so you should nurse them. Drinks for a lady are 150 baht. You can take a girl ST for 2000 baht and LT for 3000 baht, this includes her fee. I suppose a small tip might be in order (like a soapie?)
The girls here are very attractive. I think they are a cut above a gogo, and similar to a good Soi 33 bar. They were all wearing the same see-though lingerie so you could see their t*ts easily. Because of the attire, the girls who have really nice t*ts work here.  They all had white panties on underneath. They are friendly.
They do not dance. In this way, it is like a Soi 33 bar. It doesn't have quite as "relaxed" of a feeling as a Soi 33 bar.
Mamasan is friendly, explained the pricing and she also was helpful in pointing out some girls that spoke English. English-speaking girls are few here, but there were a few and they were attractive.
Bestmate bought a girl a drink. They stand behind the bar when they talk to you. This is not a grope bar. Lighting to see the girls is good. Some really, really nice t*ts on some of them, I see why BK goes there sometimes.
I eyed a few hotties and mamasan told me about them, one of them she said could not go with a customer because she had her period. Refreshing honesty. She also said that a group of guys came in earlier and bf'd 7 of the girls. There were about 15 girls there when we got there.
Would I go back? Yes I would. I'd do it with the intention of taking one out, rather than drinking for 300 baht each.

apparently there is already a thread about this place, but to lazy tom search it.
typicial asian style place with may be 5% farang customer. quality of the girls tends to be better then in gogo's, some of them were office girls others do need the money for their university.
barfine and shorttime job is thb 2,000, so fixed rate here! spirits around thb 2,000 a bottle mixers not included, ladydrinks between thb 200-300 depending wether and what membership you have!

well it is a ST (one shot), but some girls also like to extend it to a LT with no extra costs, if they are keen on you! so all depending on the chemistry!

Yes... that's the name of the place that I was trying to think of. I was introduced to the place by BK (thnx BK, I will definately go back when I return to BKK), & agree that the quality of girls there are generally higher than ones that I've seen in go-go's, although there is that one dancer from Midnite Bar that I think is awesome (don't remeber her name, but the one w/the long hair & nice boobs). The only drawback is the price of drinks. Is this typical of all bars in the area, and in the Soi 33 area?

Junior, prices in Soi 33 are lower. Lady drinks in some bars only 90 baht. Guest drinks around 100+ baht.
Same prices apply to Club Orbit, Violin and a couple of other bars with similar concepts.

Have all of the memberships been sold? How did you get in without being a member? How much do they charge for a membership?
