Occasionally on this forum, I've heard some talk of topless and even bottonless gogo bars in BKK. Apparently, they are only temporary (cops paid off, etc....). I've been to BKK a few times over the past year and haven't found any. I'll be back in about 16 days and would like to know where to find them, if they exist. Any suggestions would be great.

Actually, this used to be perfectly normal in BKK before last year's pre-APEC crackdown. The levels of 'public decency' required tend to ebb and flow. Most bars were actually mixed - in a typical GG, a good 50-60% of the BGs would be topless, with the rest either starkers or in a full bikini. Other bars might alternate sets between nudists and bikini-clad.
Bikinis are currently the norm, obviously. Your best bets are probably the upstairs Queens bars in Patpong - somebody also suggested Rawhide in Cowboy. Last time I was in Baccara (also Cowboy), the GGs dancing on the glass floor above were nude - but that was late last year. You wouldn't be able to rely on any of these - it's quite variable depending on the prevailing cops situation - but as Jojje suggests, a quick recce along Cowboy should produce results most nights. Of course, the raunchier girls are still into occasional flashing in many GGs - even at NEP.

I was in Baccara on Wednesday. Still the same, not nude, but you can peek under skirts if it doesn't make you feel like a pervert. Seems to be especially popular with the Japanese. (BTW, where can I get some ointment for my neck? I suppose TTM will work)
Still, a better selection next door at Sharks, IMHO, where you have to use some imagination. Well, I'm off to Pattaya this afternoon. Has always been less restrictive down there, anyway.

It was around Midnight and a buddy of mine were in a Soi Cowboy bar.......there was a guy, laying upside down, 1/2 on the stage, 1/2 on a bar stool with a nude dancer sitting directly in tongues way. That went on for several minutes with no objections from anyone. Eventually, the very large large waitress, topped only in her bra, came over and started to undo his pants. He didn't look down so he had no idea it was her. Poor f***er. Anyway, she didn't continue and the dancer soon got off him. He buttoned up and was on his way. So, nudes are to be found, you just have to search and be patient.

I was in a mainstream Cowboy GG only last night (Monday). Plenty of nudity on display - and the rest of the girls topless. This is always how this place used to be, but the last time I was in there (a couple of months back), the girls were safely tucked up in bikinis.
I get a feeling that the Cowboy regime has slackened considerably of late. No guarantee that this will still apply next week, or next month.
Does it really matter so much? The girls' bikinis are usually so miniscule, you should always know exactly what you're getting figure-wise. Unless you demand a particular pubic-hair configuration, who cares?
Personally, I think it's sexier if a little bit is left to the imagination. Nudity may be beautiful, but it's not especially erotic, and it grows old quickly.

Went into the same bar in soi cowboy, on two separate nights last week.
First night was largely bikini. Second night was almost totally nude. Maybe the bar had just made their payoff?

I realize money is what really does the talking in BKK but there has to be BG preferences.
