I have always been a non-drinker by choice. Furthermore, I have a quite unusual lifestyle as I am a vegan (no meat/dairy), doesn't eat refined food, mainly a raw foodist. I have no problem going out to nightclubs in the US as I am jovial and fun to be around. But will I seem out of place at a gogo or beer bar as I don't drink? hat other alternatives are there in order of drinks? I would appreciate any input you may have. Thanks a bunch.

most gogo bars/clubs cater for the non-drinker.
many places have non-alcoholic cocktails. bottled water is available in all venues.
I am a non-drinker myself.

Not since guzzling came in I guess! So last Friday night or more correctly 3.30am Saturday morning was your last drink? Gee, we should have had a drink to celebrate that!

No - even guys who do drink often take breaks from alcohol when they're making a night of it. Not everyone wants to get sh_t-faced, especially if they need Junior to be fighting fit later on.
That said, to be honest, I do feel a bit silly clutching a juice in a go-go bar - it doesn't seem entirely appropriate, somehow. Occasionally, a waitress will also give you a strange look when you order one. But these are very trivial irritations - you'll always see other guys in the bar with non-alcoholic drinks. I don't think the BGs themselves give a damn (quite a lot don't like drunks, though).

I have found many BG's that really appreciate the non-drunks much more as feel safer! This is truely not a problem.

one of the better non alcoholic drinks that you can order in a go go bar is 'Naam Manao' which is thai for fresh lime and soda. Although after about 17, one can feel positively nauseated.

I never had a problem enjoying a fine glass of ice tea, or fruit juice at a Go Go bar. I got some funny looks, and playful verbal jabs from one waitress at Mandarin, but after I explained to her that I tip much better when sober, she got on board with the program.

I'm also a non-drinker, and erverytime I order Coke, the girls ask me why I only drink Coke, and I tell them "I not like Acohol," the girls a very impressed that I'm a non-drinker, they say "me a good man."

As far as drinking goes...I prefer to seperate my nights...some nights when I am all f+cked out and just want to party...that is when I will get drunk and cut loose. When I am looking for lub I will either...not drink alcohol at all and stick with Cola and water only...or I will alternate between beer and water...good for hydration purposes and keeps you from getting sh+tty drunk.
I have never had anyone give me any crap about not drinking alcohol...I tend to go for sweetheart type ladies rather than party animal jaded whorish women. Ladylike ladies prefer guys to be sober everytime.
