Last week I was sitting in one of the bars in the parking lot just before Soi Cowboy.
They told me that the whole area would be closing very soon due to the new underground. This spot is going to be an entrance to the new tunnel system.
It might also affect some of the bars in Soi Cowboy.
Anyone that knows for sure what will happend?

Asoke corner and the car park bars all have to close by the years end, but I do not think it's directly linked to the metro. SC is safe as far as I know-peter

From what I heard, it is going to affect only the bars on the corner, including Lolita's. However, I also heard that the owner of Lolita's is also the owner of Alley Cats. If so he has a backup plan.
That would mean the subway would exit right into Soi Cowboy. I could hardly wait, go to the MP's on Rachadaphisek then take the subway right to Soi Cowboy. Instead of calling it the Sukhumvit exit, they should call it the Soi Cowboy exit

Will be a shame to see Lolita's close. Convenient location, convient hours for that morning/early afternoon pick-me-up. Plus, the girls know what they are doing.

I think the plan is to move Lolita's staff to Alley cats, so you still will have the girls and the hours only the location will change

all of asoke plaza will be gone latest by march, so a norwegian owner told me lately. also the open bars next to the parking lot.
apparently none of the bars on cowboy strip.
move lolitas underground is a good idea...

Will there be a special Lolita's subway car? I hope so. That will get ridership up on the mass transit
