Hi guys,
I'll arrive on April 12th 
I was also in BKK during Songkran last year and i have some vague memories (due to the alcohol  ) about higher BF's during these days ... correct or not?

For some holidays they do jack up the barfine.
I make a point of not going to Bkk during Songkran (used to be OK, but now it is no longer fun)...
As this is the Thai New Year, many of the bargirls will go home for the holidays and this leaves the bars depleted of girls..
There might be some bars that raise the barfine to help keep the girls in the bar .. if a girl takes a day off, she has to pay her own barfine unless it is a scheduled day off and they don't get many of those.
As business is pretty slow right now, I would seriously doubt that anyone would raise barfines, but you never know..

Business IS slow.
When my semi-reg visited my htl during daytime , she looked up and down Jomtien and asked how many times I had seen people on the beach ?
When I told that not too many times , she shook her head and said :"This very bad".
AND in the evenings there was a low amount of clients / drinkers.

I've never seen the BF increased a bit during Songkran. Certainly, quite a few girls will go home for visiting the relatives but there are so many cuties here that we will not find any single problem in finding the right one for the night(s).

Affirmative. Not all were allowed to take leave during the festive period. Besides, the BF was at normal rates. I even BF the receptionist aka The Hello Gal at one of the GG bars!

so by know you all now ( those of you that acualy are in bangkok) you were wrong about bar fines right?
every bar i went to and go-go i stopped by the had doubled the bar fine...or it was 800 baht if you come to work and 1000 if you dont come at all.. even the small beer bars had raised the price on saturday and sunday.
could not belive it . the owners managed to keep the bars pretty full for the holiday weekend .. but not to many customers...

Hell i'm still here and have'nt noticed any diff. B/F's... I've never been to LOS during songkran but, the B/F's are the same as the last time I was here... Shortage of TG's could'nt proove it by me bros....

I did not notice any difference in the price of barfines during Songkran. At most places in Pattaya and in Bangkok it is Baht 500. Same same as before, RELAX...!
