I would like to know the difference between gogos and bars? How does the system work. How do you approch and what do you get. Where is more posability to find nice girl for a whole night. Are discos are batter? Well if I am missing somthing please let me know as well. Thanks for help.

what's the difference between a go-go and a bar beer.
not a lot really.
both have lovely thai[and other SEA women]working there.
go-go's have girls dancing on a stage and then will interact with you between dancing.
bar beers have the girls sitting around and sometimes have a pole and they will get up and dance.
how do you approach them,my god you have'nt a chance,as soon as you enter you are a target and will be inundated with the girls wanting to sit with you,wanting you to buy them a drink and take them home for the night.
you are dead meat,espiecally someone like you,who i assume is a newbie to thailand.
they will spot you as soon as you walk in and you will be in deep shit.
where can you find a nice girl for the night,walk into any bar,go-go and i'm sure you will find someone.
most of us here have at least once.

Thanks nokna. Your advice is very helpful and pattaya sounds like heaven. I been to heaven 13 years ago. I would say the last time I even could not enter en a bar or gogo. I had girls all aroud me on the road. So I did really missed out the chances to go to a gogo or beer bars. This time I would like to try it.

As Nokna stated you will be surrounded by the girls. Just make your pick and have her sit with you. They buy her a drink. All the girls will be asking for drinks and you will end up buying everyone a drink. They get a 50% commission for the ladies drinks. So this generates extra income for the girls.
Once you make your pick the others will go away.

Do all clubs have 50%, i always figured it was less. I guess it depends on the club. Does anybody know how the diffences in bar fines go?

Technically, not much:Find, fine, feed(optional), F##k, forget(also optional).
Some details vary:
In Pattaya I have noticed that barscene is more relaxed.
In go-go You have the girls doing their "buy-me-a-drink "- routine.Some are even more pushy and ask You to buy also "for a friend and mamasan".
Now you bought three drinks.
No need to take a treatment like that, just be nice and say no.
In bars that is not usual.
Barscene has also better prices.Beer, BF and TG's are cheaper.
Bargirls have better attitude in Pattaya.
Last time I literally ATM'd by a go go-girl.

For basic system:
What You get is up to You.
You make the choice, not them.
You decide what You do and if that is not OK with them , press the pedal.
If You do notice a better-looking girl than the one you are sitting with and want to change, simply ask her to get that girl and tell her that you like to talk with her sister a little bit.
Slip her some money 50-100 bht and start again.
Always make rules clear:ST or LT , You can ask what she can do You and what she does not do to you.
Price negotiations BEFORE barfining her.
Do not make S/M jokes, they believe You are Ted Bundy and Hannibal Lecter combined.
Giving personal info is not needed.
Do not tell what hotel and room you are staying.
No home addresses, e-mails or phonenumbers.
And always be nice and show some manners,it helps.

i've posted this before about the cut the girls get,but will post again.
being a regular of certain bars in patong,i got to know the prices.
my regular girl,Nok worked in a go-go and a ladydrink cost 100 and she got 30 as her share,but only for non alcoholic drink.
if the girls had beer or whisky,they got no share.
the BF was 500 and they got given a slip of paper with their name,number and date on and were paid 150 at the end of the month when they presented it for repayment.
but in a bar beer i used a lot,the ladydrink was 120 and the girls got 30.
BF was 200 and the girls got nothing,but the owner owned a couple of houses and the girls lived rent free and all their food was paid or by him.
i would think there are many different schemes the bar owners operate.

just noticed the end of your last post JR and have to disagree to an extent.
do not need to give persoanl info,i talk to them and tell them about me and they do the same.
you tend to get to know them as a person,not just a shag[but only if that's what you want].
they all know where where i'm staying as i normally take them back there and i always stay at the same place and thy remember.
ok,i admit it can cause problems sometimes if they turn up in the middle of the night when you are with someone else.
and this has happened to me.
i always exchange e-mail addresses and phone numbers if they want.
if i like the girl enough,i will do all i can to stay in touch and even now i get regular e-mails from girls i last saw over 2 years ago.
but i agree with you about being nice and having good manners.
not just the girls you meet,but with everyone you meet.
but treat the girls right when you are there and you will have a friend for life.
i value my friendship with a lot of them.
i have never met anyone on this board,but correspond privately with many members and i again i value the friendships i have forged.

Nokna, I admit those sound harsh but better safe than sorry.
Of course they see the hotel and number when they come back with me.
For safety reasons I do not give up the HTL and room number BEFOREHAND.
You are in a go-go so You can't be in the room.
One phonecall is all it takes,if the girl works that way.
What comes to personal info,my friends have received enough those "buffalo/child/mother/father/parrot sick"-calls and letters in all possible variations.
OK this does not appen to everybody but why take risks.
MY format for sanuk is just different than Yours.

i like that idea on how to switch up the girls... i was always wondering a classy way to switch girls without them losing face or you looking like a schmuck... slip em 50-100 and say youd like to talk to your sister... kudos!
