I'm a big fan of the NBA but am leaving for BKK next Wednesday. Where are the bars that show the NBA and what time do they show the games? Thanks. Lakers all the way!
Game 7 of Lakers-Spurs (assuming it goes 7) is scheduled for Wed May 19. If Kings-Wolves also goes the distance their game 7 is also scheduled for May 19. Could be a pretty amazing night of hoops. The games are likely to be at 5 and 7:30 pm US pacific time, which means 7 and 9:30 am Thu May 20 in BKK. Pub choices are severely limited at that hour; the best you might hope for is that ESPN or Star is carrying it in your hotel room.
Same problem with weekend day games. A Sunday 12:30 pm US pacific time start equates to a Monday 2:30 am start. Occasionally the sports channels in Asia will delay or repeat a game, in which case you could probably catch it at Gulliver's.
Just saw the Lakers beat the Spurs. Hopefully they'll still be playing when I get to BKK next weekend.
