There is a ladyboy papasan currently working at Voodoo Bar. He seemed very nice at first, offering to bring whichever girl I was interested in to my table. I had a few drinks, found a girl I liked, and asked for the bill plus barfine. The ladyboy brings the bill and quotes me a figure which I know is too high. I look at the bill and see he has slipped in an extra drink plus 700 B for the barfine which is supposed to be 600 B.
Bill padding may be common in BKK, but this is the first time I have encountered it where I was 100% sure it was NOT an honest mistake, but a clear attempt to rip me off for a few extra dollars. Instead the bar LOST a few dollars, because I decided not to barfine the girl and only paid for the drinks I actually had.
It is a shame because there are some attractive (real) girls working there, but I refuse to patronize any bar that employs thieves.

Gee, it must be really quiet in Voodoo Bar. Thought they'd have more bills to pad. I like it in King's Corner, without fail, they always manage to find lots of bills to pad whenever I pay my drink bill.

Order one beer/round and pay right there and then..

there is place in patpongs that I go to as there is some real stunners in there. I really get on there nerves by doing it the real UK way wich is I walk up to the bar and wait to be served and buy a round and then pay for it even removes the really anoying cows in there asking for a 100bt tip for every round they get.
Thus when I go in there now noone comes up to me to get a drinks order I just get

i used to find it funny when Men would pay for their drinks one at a time.
the Waitresses were not used to the concept and the looks on their faces was funny to see.
because I had my regular Bars and knew the Staff I was treated well and I don't think I ever got stiffed.
but I will never know for sure when I was drunk and had no recollection of being in the Bars.
