Was at Nana and Cowboy last nite. Tried to enter Angelwitch and Rainbow II but the girls and guys at the door said members only. Asked the girl at Angelwitch how much is the membership fee and she said 5000 bht. Needless to say I left. Didn't ask how much it was at Rainbow.
Headed on to soi cowboy, same thing. Tried to enter one of the bars there, can't remember the name, and they said members only. Tried Long Gun, same story, members only. One of the girls at long guy remembered me, so she just ushered me in.
I used to frequent all of the above places without any problems. All of them didn't have this membership rules.
Anyone knows whats up with these membership rules lately?

It's the FFC membership sorta like the Thailand Elite card. You must of have that look of desperation on your face, hence no entrance. The clubs that you mention are small, thus seating is a problem so they are limiting entrance to punters that will quickly BF a girl and leave instead of those who nurse one drink for two hours while they watch the shows.
If you seen the individual threads on these three bars you can see where they are going downhil in other places as well. Just a matter of time before they will be for sale.

Thanks for the replies. Looks like discrimination seeing as it didn't happen to the rest. Never thot i'd see the day though.
Granted, I don't normally bar fine the girls but I sure spend atleast 1000 on drinks alone at any one place.
Well it's their loss!

I saw the same thing happening to a Yemenite guy last time I was there...
I have a "weird" problem in Tilac (Soi Cowboy), the old Mamasan is camping in front of my table repeating "me drink cola" over&over again as soon as I walk in the place. Even when I tell her in "thai" : WILL YOU FOOK OF!
She does not seem to get the message, then she stay and call the uglyer girls to the table and they start repeating the same mantra again "me drink cola!!!"
Anyone having the same "problem"???

I'm Indian...but look more of the thai colour. I never had a problem entering the same places a few weeks back or anytime before. Come to think of it, i've never had any problems entering any place before. So it's kinda weird that on the same day, I get turned away in almost every place I visited in Nana AND Cowboy!....lol.
