Noticed that construction is finsihed and the new Hillary Bar on Suk Soi 4 is now open. Place was well populated at about 5PM today, Monday 21/3. They have about 3-4 small pool tables on the left, a nice circular bar and a section to the right with about 20 barstool type tables (can seat 2 -3).
The place looks very nice.
The other original Hillary further down and across the Soi is still open of course too.
The lady who owns the first one is a very lovely woman. I hope she continues to do well with this one too.
Agreed. New Hilarz bar is pretty good. Day shift staff are mostly from the old bar with some new hires too. There is one girl called Kwan, who used to work at the Corner Bar in Soi 11, who is especially nice. The food is also good. Upstairs there are apparently more tables....full size I am told but I didn't go and look. I don't doubt that this place is going to be a big success. It is well worth a visit. Some good players there too....I played the manageress of the original Hilary Bar....10 racks and she killed me...with a big smile on here face!
