There is a new roof top beer garden that has opened above the newish bars in soi 1 (the ones close to the entry to the highway).
It looks quite nice and has a ncie breeze at night, not sure what the set up is though.

There is indeed a lot of construction going on the 2nd and 3rd floors (roof too maybe) of the building where Ball In Hand is. Looks to be first class all the way. They are even redoing the stairs.
If they are as fast as they finished up the new Hillary Bar, it might even be open by now. I have not shot a 9 ball for 10 days, so maybe ????
Soi4 is a hot area. It could be a nice new addition.
We shall see.

Latest I heard is that soi 7 beergarten will remain as it is. It will be operated by the new owners though....

The new extravaganza in the Rajah hotel car park Sin, is due to launch on Friday April 1st. Described as a Club, Roof Garden and Lounge the guys behind this venture have clearly put some serious spondolies into it. They also understand the concept of promotion and marketing, which is more than can be said of the last couple of ill-fated ventures at this location. I shall trundle up at some stage on that evening and see what it is all about. My invite says free booze from 9 pm – 10.30 pm. Seems a good enough reason if just to see what is so sexy and stylish about the place, as the blurb says. Girls of all descriptions are welcome but there will be no classic Soi 4 services on offer. What the girl guests do is their business!
